No one ever came to check us in, despite multiple phone calls & ringing the bell at the front desk. The hotel we ended up at said that happens daily with Northgate Inn. Save yourself the frustration & stay at The Village Inn!

Didn't get receipt til late. After 10pm..Tape on the door Laundry machines broken... No washcloths in the room. Had to go to front desk to get it. Check in states at 3pm. On email. No where in the email says to check in at 7pm. They were cleaning in preparation for next week concert. No information for wifi code. She wasn't at the desk when I hit the doorbell. Wifi info should be in the room or.in the keychain.. Nothing mentioned Will not go back.

It is a hidden gem of motel. Our hikes was at Stanley and stay at Stanley was 350 per night . This place was only 100. Dining options was great around . Room was clean and beds comfortable. Lisa at front desk was sweetest and friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend this place.

Minimalistic

Rented a king, was given a queen, all that was available. No soaps of any kind. No hand towels. Curtains were torn. Antique AC, could not regulate temp. All in all, not very inviting, cold. Needs help.

The door lock was broken, no anti-slip mats or grab bars in the tub. There were only 2 bathtowels, one hand towel and no washcloths. The TV didn't work, there were no chairs in the room and the the curtains were too old and thin to block out the light. I was told the button on the counter would summon somebody ANYTIME of the day or night, but I never saw anybody after check-in, so I couldn't,'t let them know we decided not to stay another night. Another gentleman was trying to check in as we were leaving, and he finally gave up and left. I believe we should have been given a refund for the second night, but the hotel said no. NEVER AGAIN!! 😡

I had locked my door to leave. When I came back my door was unlocked and some of my property was moved around in the room. They claimed it was their room service maids but the bed was still not made and all the pillows/sheets/blankets were exactly how I left them. They also put me in a room with a smaller bed and less accommodations than I had payed for and offered no refund for the original price. I ended up paying the price for a king size bed room when instead they had moved my pregnant wife, my dog, and I into a twin size bedroom. They also offered no proper body wash or shampoo for the showers. The shower drain was plugged and the tub kept holding water even without the drain plug in. The towels we received were also dirty and one of them had old human feces on them from someone wiping their ass with. The bathroom fan did not work either. The kitchenette that they had there was extremely dirty with old nasty dishes and food still in them that were clearly a few days old. I 100% do not recommend this place.

It was unfortunate, but apparently 2 housekeepers walked out the day before our stay. We came to check in at check-in time, told no rooms we ready and to come back in 2 hours. We did, needed to wait 20 more minutes. Had to come back and forth to the room 3 times before I got the right key to get into the room. Knob did lock, deadbolt was broken. Really run down place. Our room had basic cleanliness. Ice maker in the lobby was the best ever. Ground level window in our room with a huge crack, curtains full of holes. There was never a person at the desk, you had to call a listed personal cell to check in, ask a question, etc. Community kitchen area with fresh coffee 1st morning, 2nd morning nothing. Microwave in communal kitchen area gross. The manager apparently just took over and was handed a mess on a busy travel weekend. Where was the owner? How could they just leave her there to deal with a sold out motel with all rooms booked and staff who walked out?
