This brand new, super clean, quiet and conveniently located home is an ideal place for a large family or two couples to share. It has two bedrooms with nice comfortable queen beds, two full baths, plus a queen sized pull out sofa bed in the living room. One bedroom is a master with a bathroom (shower only), the other bathroom is in the hallway outside of the second bedroom (shower/tub combo). It is lake front, 5 minutes from Folly Beach and 15 to 20 minutes from downtown Charleston. This neighborhood is a collection of eclectic homes surrounded by marsh and tidal creeks where Moms walk with strollers in the evening and children ride their bikes after school. Full kitchen, dining room and living room. Dishwasher, washer and dryer, cable and WiFi. Regular drip coffee maker, and a K-cup coffee maker. Front porch on the street side, and back patio overlooking the lake. Plenty of outside seating. Plenty of parking. Cotton sheets provided! Harris Teeter within walking distance. Fully stocked with pots, pans, and kitchen utensils for cooking in. Surrounded by restaurants in both directions. Nicely decorated. Paper products, soap, garbage bags, and detergents provided for hassle free traveling. Enjoy Folly Beach, downtown Charleston, and everything in between, then relax in a quiet and comfortable home. Open the windows for a nice lake breeze! Fishing allowed in the saltwater lake. Bring your gear and catch your dinner!!!

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this property. It was 3 minutes from parents home, so the location was perfect for me and my family during our Thanksgiving visit. I would highly recommend and stay again when ever I visit the city I was born and raised in.

Where to begin! First and foremost, we were absolutely loved staying in this super cute house and very clean; we were 4 adults and there was plenty of space to do just about anything. Main et guest bedrooms are very spacious, kitchen has all you need, dining room is perfect (with a closet that offers beach chairs (Tommy Bahama, super comfy) and a few towels (we brought ours). There's a gas grill outside by the lake (non swimming lakealligators) that we used and an awesome area under the house where to sit and relax. The neighborhood is quiet and friendly. The house is a 5 minutes drive (max) from Folly Beach and about 20 min from Charleston (depending which area you're heading to). Teeters (affiliated with Kroger's) is right on the other side of the main street (at the light where we turn to get to the house) and they do accept Kroger's Plus cards (to get the ''deals''). Folly Beach offers an array of shops, restaurants, bars and live music. One thing I feel is a good info; when parking at that beach, you can do so on any parallel streets, for free! Just make sure your wheels DO NOT touch the street (stay on the grass, in front of any house); otherwise you'll get a ticket. You have to go to the Rainbow bridge in that same area; all the pets' collars, pictures, etc., is definitely something to see. The owners of the house are beyond responsive and super nice. Overall, our stay was one we'll remember very fondly. We won't hesitate to rent there again and will recommend!

Great Stay

Adorable House

The house was in a very nice neighborhood and close to Folly Beach. It was a very comfortable and clean house. The hosts were very attentive and quick to answer when I had a question. Very pleasant experience. I would definitely stay there again and recommend it to anyone staying in the area.

Great stay

Everything was wonderful, we loved the location and ease of getting in and out of the area. Only suggestion would be a TV in the bedrooms would be nice as some people need the sound and device running to get to sleep. Other than that we didn’t have any complaints. Look forward to staying again.

Charleston for Dad's Memorial

My father was a long time resident of Charleston/James Island, with family ties to the French Huguenot Church in downtown/Old French Quarter. His memorial party was held in a courtyard of the church with many friends, family & his Vietnam Buddies all attending. We had live music, open bar and an Oyster Roast. It was fantastic. How does this relate to the house here? Well it was close enough to downtown for us to run back and forth to the church all week with ease... And it was set up and provisioned so well that we were able to host all of Pop's Vietnam Buddies for a 'Burgers & Beers' social on the patio out back on one of the weeknights of our stay. The grocery store is just up the street. The owners were quite gracious and we had a wonderful stay... - Recommend!

Retirement vacation

The property was in a very nice neighborhood. Everyone was very friendly. It was close to the beach and downtown. The house was very clean except for the outdoor space. We had to clean the furniture and the grill. They were very dirty. After everything was clean we really enjoyed it . The lake was beautiful. I would definitely stay here again.
