This hotel was amazing. The room was cool, quiet and clean. The bathroom had some amazing citrus shampoo, conditioner and lotion. There is a small pond by the hotel that had a sign warning people of possible alligators. The breakfast was great! They had bacon, eggs, biscuits, gravy, sausage, grits, cereal, muffins, fresh fruit, waffle makers, yogurt, bagels and more. Breakfast is on the second floor and can be crowded, so we ate in our room. We did find a small bullfrog in the hallway but we just realized him back outside. Staff was friendly and welcoming. This hotel was very close to the Yorktown and sullivans island. Sullivans island is the only beach that does NOT require payment to park for the day. Folly beach and Isle of the Palms cost at least $25 to park.

Had conjoining room. No stand to put luggage because of the door and it felt very odd/disorienting. Only one extra bathroom on second floor, which a lot of people needed while family showered, etc. Located in a nice area with walking paths, with a golf course across the street. A Circle K gas station on the back side of the property. I didn't go, but didn't feel shady. Free parking. Overall quiet. Nice spread for breakfast. Kitchen staff was happy and singing while they worked. Main reception is not a people person. Looks grumpy and always looking at her phone, but if you talk to her, she's OK. Stains on a few things - sheets (hot pink stain that also went to the floor and carpet, and black on shower curtain). Found the sheet stain very odd. What are the chances those clean sheets ended up on the same bed in the same room to match the carpet. Did not change sheets during our stay. Only towels.

The location was very good at Patriots Pointe. We were able to walk to the USS Yorktown exhibit and the tour ferry for Fort Sumter. The room was comfortable. We were able to get clean towels and refills on supplies instead of having our room made up. Breakfast was yummy. Hot fresh items included biscuits and gravy, bacon, sausage, scrambled eggs and grits along with the usual continental items. We had an issue with the laundry. After receiving directions and quarters for washing clothes, we found the dryers did not work. So we were stuck with a load of wet clothes. The next day the problem had not been resolved and we needed to ask the mamagement to at least post a sign so that other guests did not have the same frustrating experience. The machines had apparent rusty areas so maybe they should be replaced. The laundry did not meet our expectations, but otherwise, we had a pleasant stay.

Front desk lady was rude, room stunk so bad (smelled like mold and a spray to cover up cigarette smoke), and the older lady putting breakfast out was rude and yelling at people. My milk was rotten ,eggs were extremely salty, and when I went to push the coffee button, most of it was clear water. Hardly any breakfast available. Won’t stay here again.

Great place to stay when visiting Sullivans island or IOP, also right by the bridge to get to Downtown or to the interstate! Beds were comfy and we booked 2 rooms which provided enough space between the 6 of us. Breakfast here was also delicious! Definitely would stay here again
