Nice hotel overall

I was pleasantly surprised when we got to the room. It was clean and well maintained. Overall, this was a nice hotel. I would definitely stay here again. The only drawback, if you're going to Charleston, is that it was a 25 minute drive into downtown.

Beds were kinda uncomfortable and there was a bag over the smoke detector which was weird but other than that it was good for a one or two night quick stay. Check in was smooth and the lady working was nice. Everything was clean and nice being able to park right outside your door.

Omg the little fridge runs like a white noise machine the ac unit runs like a leaves blower. Then I can hear everything outside of the door. Beside that everything else are good as they can be for the price.

Outside congregations and mildew

When we pulled up to the hotel we immediately left to go find another place to stay. But due to spring break and budget restrictions, we were left with no other options. The lady working reception had called hours prior to our arrive stating the card on file had been declined, this was around 10 am and check in wasn’t until 3. We found this very odd. Nonetheless, she was very nice and polite. Once we got into the room, the smell of mildew and marijuana knocked us in the face. The shower had long and short black hairs left behind and the corners of the curtain were speckled with mold. At night, people had lawn chairs and would congregate outside of their rooms for hours on end. Leaving us two young travelers feeling very unsafe. We made a trip to Lowe’s to buy a safety bar to put under our door for a bit more security and febreze to help with the stench. While the location is close to food shopping and eating, I would advise anyone to stay clear of this hotel.
