It was close to everything and shopping was nice and close. If you don't have a car you can walk everywhere around the hotel for nice restaurants and shops. Nice quiet area at night too.
It was a nice location and had a lot to offer around it. It was also very clean inside. The only downfall was the pool was closed for cleaning while we were there
I arrived late in the evening for an early conference the next day. I was very disappointed in the morning to find There was no hot water in my room. Water didn’t get above Luke warm. I attempted to run the shower for 10 min before, and it never got hot. Informed front desk upon check out and was told “you need to let it run a bit in the mornings, 15 min usually.” I told him I did and no hot water, he said he’d have maintenance look into it. If you know you have a hot water issue at your property FIX IT! Or at least let people know the “tricks” to get it themselves ahead of time.
Breakfast was absolute dog sh?! The worst I’ve ever experienced. Not one but two hotel clearing fire alarms in an hour. An awesome experience after 8 hours on the road and taking the stairs from the 6th floor.
Our stay was wonderful. We were 10 minutes from the beach and in walking distance to many shops. The quick drive into Charleston made for a pleasant week. The staff was friendly and attentive.
Grate location and facility. My wife and I have decided this will be our go-to place. Only drawback was the breakfast service was often out of things, and slow to refill them.
