The location is excellent. Unfortunately, the restaurant was closed so I cannot give proper review of that. The day we went in March the lobby stank of gas. The next morning it smelled just as bad. I reported it to the front desk twice, but they they did not seem concerned.. Check-in was problematic because I paid in advance for a mini suite and then I was emailed the chance to bid for an upgrade to a room with your own private patio. Which I did. Which I paid for as well. When I got to the hotel, they said “we don’t have any rooms with working fireplaces they should not have taken the reservation.” But they did take the reservation, so I was given a room with no fireplace, and no patio. The person who is helped me, let me change to a room with a patio, which was very nice, but of course no fireplace. It was lovely and the rooms are great, but they had a lot of work going on. evidently the boiler was down the gas leak, etc. I’m sure it’s a nice place to stay in the summer when they’re running on all four wheels.
