The location could not be beat! You are right on Main St in Chatham. We really appreciated the free parking, while tourists were fighting for spots on the street. Breakfast was VERY nice. Especially considering what you normally get for free at a hotel. My only small complaint was the bathroom. There was some peeling paint on the ceiling. The tub floor felt squishy when you stepped on it, implying either improper installation or rot underneath. Otherwise, it was clean and very functional. I would stay here again. However, it is very pricey. But if a super convenient location is important for you, it's worth it.

We had a wonderful stay at the Chatham Wayside Inn. The location could not be better—right in the heart of charming downtown Chatham, with shops, restaurants, and the beach just steps away. The inn has a warm, classic Cape Cod feel, with comfortable rooms and thoughtful touches throughout. The staff was welcoming and attentive, making sure every detail of our visit was easy and enjoyable. Dining at the Wild Goose Tavern was excellent—great atmosphere and delicious food. Overall, a perfect blend of charm, convenience, and hospitality. We would absolutely stay here again.

Hotel is charming and clean. Front desk personnel were average at best. Our room was located in a position that required going up then down a set of stairs. There was no way to avoid the stairs. That will be a problem for folks that don’t have the strength to carry their bags up and down those stairs. There weren’t any bellhops to help. Definitely a particle issue the hotel needs to address. I would not recommend staying there since there are plenty of other choices.
