Stayed here several times in the last year. The issue is some beds and rooms are better than others. This stay room 207 the bed and pillows were extremely hard. The shower head is at shoulder height, the desk has no room to do your paperwork after a long day of work. If you are looking for something comfortable it's probably better to stay in Mackinaw City and drive the extra distance. I travel for work and stay in 40 to 50 hotels a year. This is the worst bed and pillows of any hotel I have stayed in. If you want a good nights rest this is probably not where you want to go.

This property could use a lot TLC and updating. I would not recommend for the price. It seemed clean but the entire place could use repairs and updating so the poor condition made it feel a bit unclean and unkept. Extremely overpriced for the state of the property. Check in was easy. The location is convenient to the downtown area.

In their defense this property just opened for the season. Staff was hard to communicate with and was always hard to find. The television did not work. We checked out early and went to our next destination.

My family and I have been coming to this hotel since 1993. Each time we've stayed here, it's been a very good experience. I noticed this time that the hotel has new owners, and the experience still hasn't changed. They even added a breakfast room! I'd definitely come back for another stay!
