The manager was kind, and gave us extra pillows, and our room was large. The walls are thin. When the folks moved around in the room opposite ours, our BED moved. The room was terribly dusty,especially behind the TV. The room keys malfunctioned several times. The worst part about our room was the bathroom ceiling. It was moldy and caving in. Also, they advertise free breakfast but there was nothing available other than 2 pieces of bread, 2 small muffins, a gallon of milk, and cold cereal. Sadly, there are folks living there longterm. We will never stay again.

Grossed out.

It was an old hotel with a few upgrades, like new carpet, drapes, and lavatory faucet. However, there were small blood stains on the sheets and rust stains in toilet and bathtub. Hard no! Free breakfast was toast and a couple individual boxes of cereal.

Dated but clean and comfortable.

Room appeared old and dated but clean and comfortable. Reception was friendly and helpful. Continental breakfast was no more than advertised and nothing to write home about. Cereal, coffee and bread/prepackaged muffins. No fruit or yogurt.

The stay at Lone Star Inn was okay for the rate paid. We were given a non-smoking room with a king bed that had a lingering odor of smoke. The bed was fine, but the pillows were all too firm. Some softer pillows could have been mixed in. The desk chair had a broken arm rest. The diverter for the shower operation was frozen and locked in place allowing water to only go to the shower head. Need towel racks in bathroom. Need a few more choices at breakfast like fruit, juices (orange, cranberry, etc.), eggs and other protein.
