The staff are amazing! However if you don't have a membership with the hotel the experience is a little mediocre. A lot of guests wearing a suit and tie making the average guest feel out of place. I have a ESA which I mentioned at the time of my reservation when I arrived I was told pets are only allowed on the first floor (understandable but also unexpected) but this was for our wedding so you can imagine my disappointment when I am given a new room. Which feels like you are being banished because all the rooms on that side of the hotel seem cheap and severely outdated. Again understandable because they don't want the nice rooms damaged but that is why hotels have a damage fee or you pay for a 'protection' plan through hotels.com Biggest problem is the noise it is next to a busy road and you can hear the sound of running water throughout the night. There is also a sliding door in the room if you are facing the inside of the hotel lobby and the lights are of course always on and even with the light blocking curtains it still illuminates the room from the sides. The food is also meh definitely not really worth the price even if you decide not to get room service if you don't get a meal cupon the prices are not worth the quality you get. For the price and the amount of lost sleep (the whole point of a hotel) it's overall a meh experience and I definitely will be staying somewhere else if we come back to the area for our Honeymoon.

Was a great stay! Clean, comfortable, nice. The breakfast is a bit overpriced for the food since it wasn’t fresh but it wasn’t terrible. Im sure if I went when it was first opened it would have been delicious. But, If im paying $15/pp the breakfast should be fresh for the entire time it is open.

This is a beautiful hotel rooms were very nice and very clean. Oddly, it is not that busy but it is very well maintained the pool was very nice. I think the new convention center took a lot of their business away, but this is still a very nice place to stay in Hickory.

We enjoyed our stay at your hotel. The room was clean and the staff interactions were very positive. The only criticism I have is that the ac and furnishings were dated. Overall our experience was good and will stay again when our travels take us to Hickory.

Good location for traveling to high country

Pictures look awesome. Bed was comfortable and everything was clean. Common areas of the hotel are beautiful but rooms could use updating. We didn't eat in hotel so can't rate restaurant. Nearby traffic can be very loud, even at night through closed windows. We liked the location for visiting beech mountain one day and Asheville the next day. Room had a frig and coffee/tea maker.

This is a wonderful place to stay. Very clean, and comfortable. The only issue was it is very noisy but that's to be expected with the location. So many dining and shopping within walking or under 5 min drive! I do miss the sauna, but the pool and the gym are great!
