Great hotel by the beach and in the center of Clearwater beach. Plenty of restaurant options up and down the street. Great views of bay and the ocean.

The hotel itself is nice and the staff congenial, though the place is overpriced. This used to be a clean upscale strip in Clearwater. Not anymore. There is a trashy bar across the street with no-talent cover bands blaring obnoxious loud noise past midnight so it was impossible to get rest in this place. There were drugged up mangy scum wandering about after dark pretending to accidentally come up close behind you looking for an obvious pick-pocket. What a waste of a formerly nice property.

Overall good stay but be aware of room 1016

Overall good stay. Tyler at front desk was very helpful thank you. Upon arrival a couple of minor internal issues but were fixed promptly of which it was grateful. I would not recommend staying in room 1016 as there was a "rattiling" noise coming from inside the walls both day and night. Yes it did keep me up at night every so often. This was only happeing in the second (king) bedroom. Brought the issue up to Jose at the front desk but he could not a reason. I feel it had something to do with the plumbing pipes but could not prove that theory. Could be a problem from the hurricane of Oct. 2024 that the hotel cannot correct. If I was on my own I would have assked for a change of room but I had my family with me. Bedroom number one was fine in noise.

Stayed here for five nights with husband and toddler, for a little vacation. Excellent location right across from the beach, nice dining options and pool/hottub, and staff were very understanding when my son threw a fit in the lobby (more than once). Room was spacious and allowed us to keep and cook some food in the room instead of going to eat for every meal, but lots of dining options nearby as well!

We had a WONDERFUL stay at the Hyatt Regency. The resort was beautiful and comfortable and had great amenities. Complimentary champagne when you check in (grape juice for kids), 4 free water bottles per day, right across from ocean. The only two down sides were: one of the elevators on the south side was not working which made for LONG waits to go up and down stairs (we were on 11th, pool on 8th and rooftop hot tub on 16th, lobby on 1, parking on two LOL). The second was the pool not being heated. The first night we checked in the pool felt warm and had a great temp. The second day the pool was FREEZING. Plus the weather wasn't very nice (it wasn't the day before either) so we found no comfort in the water temperature. BUT OVERALL, we loved this resort and would definitely stay again!

Very nice property, large rooms and balconies. very convenient to the beach and walking distance of everything. Hopefully the elevator will be fixed soon, that adds some time to your travels
