The bison herd nearby was wonderful to see! The cabin was cozy. The view was so nice and we enjoyed the swing on the porch. If you want great barbecue, we recommend Haywood Smokehouse, Waynesville. Their pulled pork quesadillas with peppers, onions and mushrooms were out of this world… delicious!!!

We truly enjoyed our stay at Red Dog Barn! The view was absolutely beautiful, and the location was private yet close to restaurants and shopping. It is only about 15 minutes to either Waynesville or Maggie Valley. We plan on horseback riding the next time we visit which is also close by. Check - in was easy and communication was great! Thank you for sharing your cabin with our family :)

The bison were awesome!

We had a great time while we were there! The bison walked by each day so there were plenty of chances to see them. Most of the time, they just hung out in the area while migrating between fields. The cabin had a great mountain feel to it, would definitely stay there again.

Red Dog Barn

The short vacation was for my wifes birthday. Our daughter and wifes sister came also. Great property and the buffalo going by every day was great.
