Homestead was such an amazing experience. We went for one night for our honeymoon. They upgraded our room complementary, and the amenities were all available and wonderful to enjoy. We ended up eating at the. Milk shack Café for brunch. Food was amazing and well priced. We will definitely be coming back for our yearly anniversary. Thanks Homestead for an amazing experience.

Room was nice and clean. Staff was friendly. Parking was terrible. Under construction and basically parking in dirt. Wouldn’t be so bad but a one night stay was roughly $300. A bit overpriced to pay for the upgrades in January.

We highly recommend the homestead in Midway. The rooms were very clean and well maintained. The hot pool & spas were so beautifully put together and we look forward to visiting again soon. Overall Amazing relaxing weekend get away.

Our stay was awesome! The property is beautiful.. there is ALOT of construction going on and the walk to the pools was a lot further than usual which sucked because it’s winter time! The pools are so cool and yes warm! The pools on the upper level are a lot warmer! Our room was great very clean and modern. We didn’t eat any breakfast or food there during our stay so I can’t comment on that but I will say get to the Milk House sooner rather than later they ran out of ice cream before 6pm and ran out of breakfast items before 9:30! Beautiful place to be and a great experience

Pros: The rooms are great- clean and updated. The staff is very helpful and friendly. The amenities are also clean and updated. The pools were so beautiful and fun. Cons: All of the food options on the property were extremely expensive and we only felt like some of it was actually worth the money. Some things tasted so fresh and delicious and world-class and others tasted like day-old grocery store food. When you pay that much money for food you expect it to ALL taste fresh and well curated. There is also a lot of construction currently. This was very confusing for us at times when we were trying to find our way around. There is some signage but not quite enough in some areas (specifically the parking lot). The only complaint we had about our room was that we could hear the people above us like we were in the same room. And they had very rambunctious kids who didn't go to sleep until almost midnight. Having young babies ourselves this was very frustrating. So even though the interiors are updated and comfortable, the buildings themselves are very old and creaky. Overall it was a good stay- we dont regret going. But we will probably never go back unless we have a couple hundred extra dollars.

I’m not quite sure where to start, as my thoughts are a bit all over the place, but overall I’ve been very disappointed with our recent stay at The Homestead. We’ve stayed here once before during the summer and really enjoyed the experience, which is why I decided to surprise my wife with a two-night weekend stay for her January 13th birthday. It was meant to be a quiet getaway for just the two of us, away from our family of six. Unfortunately, the experience fell far short of expectations. The ongoing construction was brutal and impacted nearly every part of our stay. Parking was inconvenient, and walking to amenities required long detours—especially unpleasant when it was around 20 degrees outside. Getting to the pool was particularly frustrating. Once there, the pools were only lukewarm, and the hot tubs were actually cold. Only two of the “hot tubs” were functioning, which made them overcrowded and unenjoyable. At one point, there was even a propane leak while we were in the pool, which was concerning. To make matters worse, all outdoor furniture was covered in snow, leaving nowhere to set personal belongings. Food and beverage service was also disappointing. We ordered two $8 chais from the Milk Bar, and both were served room temperature. The breakfast burrito was burnt on the outside and cold in the middle. I spent close to $550 for two nights and genuinely expected a much better experience.
