Great Place!

This hotel has great character. Front desk staff was amazing. The Pool/Bar/Sand/Play area was awesome with something to do for all ages. Great location 1 block from the beach!

The staff at Beachside, especially the lady at check-in, were very friendly and welcoming. However, I had requested connecting rooms well in advance—both by email and phone, about three to four weeks prior—but when I arrived, there were no notes or records of my request. The hotel itself is quite outdated and could use some renovations. The floors in the room definitely needed a deep clean, so I’d recommend bringing socks or slippers. That said, the lazy river, on-site restaurant, and overall amenities were very nice. The location is super convenient, close to everything you’d need. Plus, the free breakfast and parking are a great bonus. Overall, the hospitality was wonderful, but the hotel itself could use some updates to make the stay even better.

There was some type of chemical reaction by all 3 of us in the room. From severe to moderate breathing, tearing, sneezing and itchy eyes. Frig was rusty and cabinets were stained by a chemical of some sort. We killed more than 4 small cockroaches from German to orientel species. Had to check out early. Sad to say we spent good money for a debilitating retreat. Coming home all symptoms stopped or whenever we left room. Hope they review these issues. Big loss of money based on value and experience.

We love the area where Beachside is located. Easy walk to the beach, and shopping across the street. The rooms could use some updates, but it is comfortable.

Recommended and hope to return!

Front Desk Girl was Awesome! Great a communicating and remaining pleasant as phone was ringing and helping guest check out while others waited to check in. Ac worked perfectly, wifi was a little slow, rooms were a little dated but very clean. Breakfast was fantastic - larger variety and plenty of help to refresh. Lazy River was fun and sitting poolside was enjoyable. Area has other choices for dining nearby as well as shopping and mini golf. Beach was clean and not crowded and it was fantastic for watching the space shuttle launch. Would Absolutely stay again, but I would make the kids sleep on the pull-out sleeper next time. It isn't for 2 meant to sleep 2 adults.

The pictures look WAY better than what it actually is. We stayed here a few years ago and it looked a little updated but still needs ALOT of maintenance. The door lock came completely off, the showers were stained with dirt and just overall unsatisfactory. Pretty disappointed

Very nice place for families and easy to walk to the beach and all needs :). Staff were friendly and nice :) . I would stay again :) Maybe just heat the pool more ;) It’s a really great family location for before or after a cruise.

This was a great place! It’s a very old motel that has been refurbished into a fantastic family motel/resort. Restaurant, bar, lazy river, live music, etc.
