NOT HAPPY WITH FRONT DESK RESPONSE

My daughter was travelling with me and required ice for a severe medical condition. the ice machine was broken in the lobby. We went back to the front desk and asked if it would be possible to get some ice from the kitchen. Reply was the front desk clerk was not authorized to go into the kitchen. We were driving a large UHaul truck so not mobile to drive nearby for ice. We ended up ordering a bag of ice from a delivery service.

Good budget-friendly stay, but curtains stained.

A good budget-friendly stay in Coeur d'Alene, ID. The curtains in our room were horribly stained. They really need replaced. Also there were some spots on the carpet. The TV channels were so pixelated it wasn't worth watching. However the room was very clean and the bed was very comfortable and we felt safe. Also the free breakfasts were pretty good for the price with lots of hot options. Overall happy with the stay but they need to update their curtains and other things when they get stained or old.

I thought the price was very good! Most of the staff was amazing. There was one lady working the breakfast that was loud and cussing and clearly hated her job. She was very vocal about spraying the waffle maker so it wouldnt take an hour to clean. We overheard her cussing telling a customer she wont make anymore f*cking coffee. I think she got let go. The rest of the staff were very kind and hard working. Our room smelled like wet dog which was very uncomfortable. I should have requested another room but we were with family and had a room very close to them. The pool was cloudy but the hot tub was very nice with VERY strong jets. Overall the stay was good, not GREAT.

Not a great experience.

Bed linens were clean, however the beds squeaked. It’s an older building that has been updated but not professionally it seems. The shower didn’t drain and it was cool to luke warm water. We were on the ground floor next to the stairs and it was terribly insulated in that we could hear walking above us, and up and down the stairs. TV remote battery compartment was taped shut with duct tape. TV picture was poor with minimal channels. WiFi didn’t work well. Bathroom fan was loud and sounded like a ‘generator’. The room didn’t have a great smell. The hot tub was closed for repairs.

The stay was horrible. Bathroom was not clean. Had dirty towels and wash rags left in it. Bath tub didnt drain. Hair on the walls of the shower. Tv kept saying no service. Remote didnt work. Room had a smell. No ice maker. Elevator kept getting stuck. The fridge where you by sodas up front was not cold and the bottom of it was filled with water. The staff member i did deal with was polite and nice.

I’ve never stayed in a hotel that felt so dirty. There was mold around the bathtub and around the base of the toilet that had been covered by clear caulk. There was paint missing in the bathroom. The floor in the entry into the lobby was dirty as was the entry door, which also didn’t close properly. There was one luggage trolly for the whole hotel and it was so dirty that we didn’t even want to set our luggage on it. There were no tissues on the room. They put a hold on our credit card of $50 in case we caused damages. We’ve never had a hotel do that before. I took photos of previous damage in the room just in case they charged us. We asked the desk clerk where we might find dinner that evening and the only place she offered was a Mexican drive through a block away. The next morning we discovered many nice places about a mile away. All this for almost $200. The night before we’d stayed in a motel for $110 that was clean, plenty of amenities and friendly staff. We couldn’t wait to get out of the Ramada quickly enough. Very disappointed. I would never recommend this place to anyone.
