Hotel was disgusting. Poor smell, bugs, nasty bathroom. Overall disgusting experience I will not choose this place again. A full refund of this stay is needed

Staff was excellent. However, my room was disgusting. Wallpaper was peeling off (and it was grimy and stained too). The heat/cooling was a complete guess and I either was burning up or freezing. No chair to use the desk. Very shocked at the poor quality of the room.

1st assigned room no refrigerator. 2nd assigned room no heat, 3rd assigned room was ok. Sheets had holes in them. Maintenance took the mattress from the pullout sofa to put into another room pullout sofa. Eggs were watery and cool.

The breakfast stayed empty. They would bring out a little bit then it would be gone. Upon filling the breakfast bar one of the employees brought out a bag of hard boiled eggs and ripped the bag open with his teeth right in front of us. The hotel was severely run down. Looks absolutely nothing like the photos online. I feel like we were catfished. We stayed in the exact hotel in Iowa and it was beautiful and clean but this was terrible!

Room had a huge leak and the carpet was soaked and squishy. The bathroom was so old and there was some kind of blue tape going down the walls holding the wall paper on. Went and got another room and it was just as old and moldy. The front desk lady was so nice and understanding - we canceled the reservation and went down the road. Terrible place.

Will never stay here again room we check into smell like mold wall was peeling bad no refrigerator or microwave in the room. They moved us into another room which I thought was better until I seen blood on mattress and bedskirt and water didn’t get hot . The staff was great tho

The Armpit of Rooms

The hotel is very old and dated. It smells musty. My room was like staying in an armpit- smelly and hot, the ac was on but didn't cool the room. I called the front desk who sent up a maintenence worker, but that did nothing. Plus the carpet felt gross.

Staff at breakfast was not friendly. In my bathroom there was a poop stain on the wall next to the toilet paper dispenser. The air vents looked atrocious. I'm not sure if it was mold, rust or dirt. The staff (other than at breakfast) were very nice but it just didn't make up for the rest. I can tell the hotel may have been gorgeous in its prime but it just is not upkept or modified and as clean as it can be.

The facility has “good bones” but was dilapidated. We have to move rooms twice due to water leaks and HVAC dripping from the ceiling. The hotel restaurant needs updating. The milk at breakfast was sour. The hotel was WAY understaffed for the weekend. Some some piss poor management.

The hotel was fine. Staff was courteous, hotel was clean. The only think that I found aggravating was the table that was placed in front of the steps to access the area where the breakfast buffet was placed. It forced guests to walk around the lobby to the other side for no apparent reason. The front doors and steps to the lobby were also blocked off for no apparent reason. All guests had to enter the front of the hotel through access ramp. Neither of these issues were major obstacles, but inconveniences to guest for no apparent reason.
