It was a stop for rest as part of a longer trip. We got a good night’s sleep. The bed was comfortable. Nice area for the dog. It more than met our needs. Staff was friendly.

The outside of the hotel and the entrance area are definitely redone and look great. When we saw the entrance and lobby area, we felt like the rooms would have the same experience. The room itself was mediocre, definitely dated. The bathroom was disgusting. Very outdated and a little moldy in the shower. You could see an old outlet on the wall where a home phone used to be. The family did a quick shower to get in and get out as quickly as possible due to the conditions of the tub. The faucet on the sink did not stop running unless you slightly lifted it up and to the left. My son was opening the drawers in the room out of curiosity and found a box of condoms from the previous guests (or who knows how long they were in the drawer). The rooms definitely need renovation and remodeling. I hope they make the rooms as inviting as the entrance.

Room was okay. Shower head was clogged and molded over, blocking most of the water flow. The 3rd floor I was put on was under renovation. Both mornings I was woken up by banging furniture, drilling, grinding, and other construction noises. There were bed frames, refrigerators, and other trash all throughout the hallway and even had a ladder blocking my door at one point. Why was I the only guest in this floor?!? Additionally, I tried to checkout around 1030 and there was no one at the counter. I rang the service multiple times and waited at the counter for 10+ minutes…no one ever came. I had to get to the airport so I ended up leaving my room key on the counter.

You walk in and there is some odd smell, there was first a spider on the bed. Go to the bathroom and there is a bug in there, tub is so stained it looks filthy. Go back to the room and there was a stink bug. I laid down to rest a minute because we had been traveling a ROACH walked across my arm. I got up flinging my arm and walked over by the desk to see another bug by the coffee pot. The fire alarm was also taped completely over. We checked out a day early and when I told the lady at the front desk all she said is do you want another room. No, there would be bugs everywhere. We refused to even go to get anything from the breakfast area if it wasn't prewrapped and nothing was. I am filing a claim for the second night because we had to find another hotel 20 miles away.

The hotel is in need of updating which is in progress. Nice people. Great breakfast. But rooms are not clean. Peeling ceilings and dirty carpets. Kitchen chairs need replaced. We ended up leaving early and hotel would not refund anything.
