Beds were comfortable, amenities in room were nice. Appeared updated and well cared for. No issues!
Hotel lobby smelled musty- THEN, we reserved 3 rooms and ALL smelled like mold. Noticed a dehumidifier hidden behind a lamp, water stains along the ceiling beams, chipped paint above the shower. We had to keep a window open in order to avoid throat irritation. Had to then turn off air conditioner to stop the rancid odor
Barbara at the front desk was an absolute sweetheart. Professional and friendly. Mike a gentleman I ran into at the elevator was also very kind and friendly. Hotel was clean and organized. Furniture can use some updating for we had a suite.
No information packet was given or in the room. The walls are so thin we heard every drawer that was slid above us and every footstep. It was a repeated thing all night. The shower was small and water pressure was very low. We had a suite and stayed for 4 nights. I picked this hotel specifically for a balcony and the pool. The pool was nasty and we were not able to enjoy it. It stayed closed. When we asked when it would be opened we were told that they didn't know and nothing else. I requested a balcony and got a patio with no privacy. I was told nothing else was avaliable and if I chose not to stay i would loose the money I paid. So we stayed. The fridge was dirty upon arrival and the cabinet under the sink and microwave was dirty and mildewed. They clean every other day. On the day it was to be cleaned we left at 11. Only to return to a dirty room with trash still over flowing and no clean towels or washcloths.The 3rd night the fire alarm started to beep shortly after 2. We couldn't reach it. We called the front desk only to be informed that we needed to take the batteries out. We told her we couldn't reach it. After another 20 minutes we walked to the front desk and she told us she called maintenance they couldnt come. We took it down after moving a night stand and my husband standing on it. The 4th night there was not one single parking space available when we got back. We literally had to park at the front of the door. Nothing was offered for our inconveniences.
The check in staff was Great, but the staff in the dining area was phenomenal! We did have a little issue with the cleaning staff redoing the beds but we easily handle that on our own with the extra provided sheets from the front.
We were there for my son's graduation at Fort Jackson and it was an easy 12-15 minute max trip to get there. The food on the property was pretty good especially the hot honey wings!
I will definitely visit this property again!
From the moment of walking into the lobby the staff members were always very nice. The check in process was quick and easy. We enjoyed having the cafe and bar in the hotel especially since there was not anyplace within walking distance. Our room was spacious and very clean. We did not hear any noise while in our room. The check out was also very quick and easy. I would stay here again.
Check in was quick and staff members were friendly. Breakfast was good and service was adequate. Lobby and room upholstery seating need to be clean. Rugs throughout hotel were dirty need to be shampoo. Room was small and light by one of the nightstand did not work. Lamps above nightstand were dusty need to be upgraded, the room did not have sufficient light.Bed mattress was to soft your body sunk into the mattress. Need to install USB outlets by nightstand. Surrounding area did not feel safe. Overall hotel needs upgrading. Over priced for 1 night stay. Will not be returning.☹️ Give this hotel 2 stars.
Everyone was amazing I mean AMAZING ALL THE STAFF WAS SO NICE AND SWEET ESPECIALLY TO MY AUTISTIC SON like I had no issues everything was clean , comfortable I mean like everything pool was nice 10/10
