Dog-friendly but…

It is a ‘dog friendly’ hotel, that charges $25 a night per dog and does not have a doggy relief area. The breakfast was good. There were biscuits with gravy and a waffle station. The beds were comfortable.

This was a great first experience! Bed was super comfortable, more pillows than I needed. Breakfast was good, waffles were bigger than expected. Check in and out was super easy and staff was nice.

A little less than OK!

Bed was comfy and linens clean. Breakfast was typical hotel fare, but adequate. Breakfast attendant was attentive and kept the area stocked and cleaned. Baseboards in bathroom need dusting - dust bunnies. No soap dish. Mini frig sat on the floor in a corner with microwave sitting on top of it, not convenient. The worst thing was this filthy looking chair. Would rather not have a chair than this one!

We did not have any interaction with staff except checking in and out. They were pleasant. The couch in our room was disgusting. It had fluid stains all over it. The toilet was not clean and the floors were tacky/ sticky, so not clean. The breakfast biscuits and gravy were cold because the buffet cord was frayed so I had to wiggle it in order to turn it on, however, I was able to heat the food up in the microwave.

The property is old but clean. Great place for the night as you’re traveling as restaurants are easily accessible. Front desk employee, Sweetie, was just so friendly. The Bed was comfortable and the room was clean. The building and furnishings were old but for a quick place to sleep, was fine. The complimentary breakfast wasn’t too great but offered a variety. Can’t beat the price
