The Lodge was nice for the area. The general manager Curtis was amazing. Sadly no ice machine, limited dining help. The rooms were rustic to match area, beds were okay comfortable, bathrooms clean. No blow dryer! A great place to kick back in the lobby by the fireplace, but not quite cold enough for it. The coffee was absolutely delicious.

The hotel was excellent, but a bit dated. I would have liked better internet service, but given the location, the hotel was offering the best service in the area.

The manager, Curtis was very helpful and friendly. It is 4 miles from Yellowstone. Very close to Lamar Valley.

Room was clean and convenient location to the east entrance to yellowstone park. No frills room and little pricey. Restaurant attached to the hotel not worth trying.

absolute dreadful stay! None of the accommodations were open! No casino, no tavern, no restaurant ! Employees were in the lobby on their phones every time we walked through.. We chose this place because we thought we would have a place to eat, a place to have a drink and little entertainment all in one location.. when we arrived we were flat lied to and told that the tavern just closed early that day! After speaking to locals the tavern/casino hasn't been open almost all summer long. The 2nd day we asked again about it and all the guy would tell us is it was closed then acted like he didn't understand what I was asking.. Of course while on his phone sitting in the lobby. Woke up the 2nd day went down to get coffee and was told no coffee they had to clean the machine of course they were once again sitting in the lobby on their phones. 3rd morning had to go down to look for someone so we could get towels, 3 days and no house keeping, we had to actually go down and request for our room to be turned down... Well ended up just 1 out of the 5days we stayed there they actually changed our sheets and made the bed... The last 2 days they did bring towels and take out trash but that was it! No mopping no soap or coffee cup replacements.. they just brought towels... they offered wifi and we connected but still had zero service.. This was our anniversary trip and it was ruined sadly by the place we chose to stay... We will not ever make that mistake again!

Good location. Unhelpful staff. No housekeeping for 3 days. No lighting. Poor condition. No hot water in a.m. 3 stories, no elevator. Surly attitude. Suspect they gave the worst room to Expedia clients. Filthy window. Water-stained ceiling. Inadequate furniture (missing lamp & nightstand).

We were disappointed that the bar wasn’t open ( and the restaurant). I feel this should of been posted on the door so we knew before entering the lodge! Not the owners fault! Nice restaurant(miners lodge down the street)! Coffee pots in the rooms would be great! They had super water pressure in the showers and awesome towels!

Disappointment

We spent one night here, think there were literally 3 people working the entire place. No one at the front desk for check in. A phone there with a number to call for assistance but no one answers. Part of the reason for staying here was the bar and restaurant on site- both were closed. Room was very clean when we did get checked in. Bath towels were very thin, several light bulbs burned out, sink drain was plugged. No coffee pots in the room. Thin blankets on the bed. Definitely not worth the price. This place was probably awesome in its prime but that isn't the case anymore.

Facility is in need of repairs. Bathroom door did not lock, tub had a crack that was 8 inches long and 1/2 inch wide covered with clear epoxy, wall was damaged and just covered with lath to fill the opening, missing covers on wall plugs, doors had a 1inch gap under them, trim had a gap of an inch from the floor. The bedding was dirty. No air conditioning. I would not recommend this property.
