First room smelled of smoke

The first room smelled of smoke. The front dusk immediately upgraded us to another room with an air conditioner that barely worked, and there was no shampoo in the room, just two conditioners. It was overpriced for the stay.

Unprofessionalism and an embarrassment for your co

I was waiting for my husband to get back from his appointment at the U of I Hospital. I checked out so that the room would be cleared for cleaning and was sitting in the lobby reading my book. Your office help talked about their sex experiences and encounters, good and bad ones, for over an hour. I had a hard time resisting going up and telling them what I thought of their unprofessionalism in a place of employment. I let it pass even though I couldn’t believe their unprofessional conversation, but it never stopped. I finally left to go for a walk outside and then sat in my car. Please talk to and take appropriate action with these 2 gals! Very important for your business!!!

The property was clean, but certainly appeared dated. The breakfast was on par with other hotels. They also offer a complementary dinner Mon-Thu (we stayed over the weekend, so didn't get to experience it). Probably due to our location on the far end of the hotel, but we had very little water pressure in the sink and shower. The staff was friendly, check-in was quick, and the breakfast was well stocked.

For an older hotel the property is maintained quite well. Friendly staff, clean, nice variety of breakfast items. I would stay here again!
