I liked the fact that it was right on the water. However, when we tried to open the door the keycard reader wasn't working properly. Had to try several times to open the door, every time we came back to our room. When we walked in the floors were dirty with sand and leftover food. A dead and dried roach was glued to the bathroom floor. The tables also hadn't been cleaned and the shower has mildew. One of the beds had a huge stain in the middle of the sheet and the other had hairs between the sheets. The office persin was more than willing to give us cleaning supplies as well as another set of sheets so WE could clean it ourselves. If we weren't in a pickle we would've gone elsewhere. And your only "amnenities" is the tv, IF it works. Not even an ice machine.

Everything’s rusted, even the toilet paper holder. It gives the feeling that things aren’t clean. Sand all over the floor. Pullout sofa was pretty gross; soiled mattress and no mattress protector for the next person. Killed a roach on the wall. On the upside, the regular queen beds were comfortable. The motel is also walking distance to the fun Art district.

The courtyard was beautiful. Walking distance to the water, restaurants, a shaved ice hut we like, and live entertainment. Just be aware that the noise levels are sometimes lively.
