Front desk man was really nice. Room was okay. Old property. My bathroom had bugs in sink and tub. Tub did not look very clean. Pink/ orange stuff along the rim. Bathroom had a ventilation issue. I could smell whenever my neighbors had used the restroom as if it was in mine, every single time. It was an okay place for a short cheap stay.

We stayed on 2nd floor. Time for some updating/ refreshing our room. Dim lights in bathroom. Just little things would give it a freshen look and more appeal. We were with a group. Some of their rooms smelt like dog. Our bed was good and comfortable.

Big South Fork Lodge is a real gem! Rustic, scenic area. Becky (host) was very pleasant and helpful. The room was very clean and comfortable. The bathroom had large, soft towels. The bed was very comfortable. We will definitely stay again when in the area.

There may have been a misunderstanding about our special request. Asked for NOT lower level and were put in a room on lower level. It had a musty smell and was pretty out dated. It was clean. Went to desk to request Lysol spray, but no one was there. No one at desk at check out. Pretty noisy above us all night….woke three times with walking and doors closing. Breakfast was good.

The pictures online looked great, clean, and welcoming. However once we checked in, we instantly regretted it. The room was NOT clean. The beds were sloppily made. There was a piece of someones weave on the floor, toothpaste on the vanity, hair under the vanity and in the tub. The curtains looked like someone closed then with food on their fingers. The aire condition was loud and made a horrible noise (that scared me 3 year old) everytime it turned off. And to top it off, there was, what looked to be silly string on the ceiling. Since I booked through Expedia they did not refund me and didnt even offer another room at the time. They did offer me Choice points - but not even enough for a nights stay. EXTREMELY disappointed & disgusted.
