La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Danbury

The hotel hall and rooms had a faint unpleasant smell. Free breakfast was so so. Direct TV service was spotty. ESON & ESPN2 were listed on the channel guide but there was no picture. Completely lost the TV service and had to have maintenance reboot it. Overpriced for what you received. On the positive side the lady who checked us in was very nice and helpful.

I stayed in rm 101. The bathtub did not hold water so that was frustrating when I specifically requested a bathtub. Parking was always full and I had to park off the property. Also your front desk person had no idea how to check me in. She told me ALL of my credit cards didn’t work and refused to let me check in. Finally the manager came over and educated this rude woman on how to check someone in. Also the towels were thin and scratchy and the bed was hard. NEVER EVER AGAIN.

Stayed here for a quick overnight while in town for a BMX race. Staff were friendly and helpful. Allowed for an early check in and check out which was helpful for us as races were adjusted due to weather. The attached restaurant and arcade was a bonus for our nephews.

The only thing I would say is the parking but all and all every time I come to Danbury I stay here. It’s is clean and they have all the amenities and this time the new restaurant was open they is a huge plus!
