A request was made to have a room close to the elevator due to an 85 year old woman having mobility issues. Our room was far away from the elevator and she had difficulty walking to it. When this was brought up the desk clerks attention, his response was “it could be worse”.

Older hotel. Clean. Hall and room carpets may have recently been replaced. Room furniture is looking aged. Very heavily scratched and knicked up. Old style aged tubs and low height bath counter top. No staff at front desk when we arrived at 3:30 pm to check in. Waited at least 5 mins for someone to arrive.

Our stay was great! Very clean hotel. Our room with 1King size bed and sofa bed was the perfect size. One small complaint was that hotels.com said free breakfast which we were looking forward to since it was a family stay. Unfortunately it was not free but “breakfast available”. Hopefully they update that for the future.

Not the greatest, but not the worst

When we first arrived at our room, the AC wasn’t working properly. We were offered a new room in a recently renovated area. The room was great, except the water never got hot. The tub barely got warm, and the shower was even colder. Overall, the room was fine.

Overall our stay was very good. The king oversized room was very comfortable and we slept well. There are some areas that need improvement. The alcoves near the elevators on the 2nd & 3rd floor near the elevators stink. Air fresheners have been placed there. They are not working. The area smells like a dirty diaper pail. Fortunately, this stink is isolated to this one area. We did not locate the outdoor pool but the indoor pool was pretty gross. The concrete needs to be painted and the water was very cloudy. There were lots of pool toys on racks & they were covered in black mold. The restaurant menu says Wed-Sun and has many breakfast options listed. This is posted outside of the restaurant and in the elevators but it was limited to a brunch. The service was great. Our room safe did not work and twice a repairman was sent in a few minutes - even after hours. The front desk staff was very efficient and friendly.
