Compare Ski Hotels in Darien

Staff was pleasant. Room cleanliness was mid. Splurge of something down the picture frame along bedside so hopefully sanitation is taken seriously. Pool was shut down for the evening of last night of stay and extremely over crowded every other night with kids and no parents! Not what the rules stated was allowed. Smoke free establishment and the entire space smelled like marijuana my entire stay. I will not be

The hotel was nice and the inside was top notch, but they charge you 25 dollars a day for wifi, pool use, and a bunch of unnecessary credits. Even if you do not use these items you are still charged. Was not happy about that.

The bellman Steve was awesome. Holding luggage before and after check in was super helpful.

Great place to stay the young lady checking us in was not very friendly. Never received my complimentary drinks. There was never anyone at the bar. Valet guy was very helpful!!! Other than the small things it was a good stay!!!

Overall terrible stay - the one plus is the location is great, but the person working at reception was so unhelpful upon my arrival (borderline rude), the room was extremely small, and the walls were paper thin I could hear everything going on in all rooms nearby. You can also hear everything going on outside. In addition, the air conditioning/fan unit wasn’t working. There are plenty of nice places to stay in Chicago at a similar price, don’t stay here.

Breakfast and Dinner at Elephant & Castle were very impressive. The staff at hotel were sooo accomodating. Hospitality++ I would stay here again for sure
