We could never find the pool that is in the main picture. A fellow guest stated she had been looking for it also and someone told her that it was actually for the resort next door. Our beautiful view we were aupposed to have was of a roof top that people had thrown stuff onto from the floors above. We had to call security through the night due to loud college kids next to us. This was anything but a "Resort".

The hotel is in need of some love and care. Elevators are missing the fronting over the buttons, the rooms are rundown and dirty. The curtains are full of holes. we were shocked that this was a Hilton Hotel. It is definitely not being held to the standards being met in other locations.

There was a convention going on…tons of people. Average wait 10-15 minutes to get on elevator every time. Only one or two of the 4 elevators even worked!! It was awful. Doors would not stop if someone was trying to get on. Cleaning staff kept entering the room despite the privacy do not disturb on the door. They could not speak English at all. It was disturbing. Not as disturbing as the absolute I don’t care attitude of the front desk staff!! I have stayed there twice…but never again!

Beds suck! Woke up hurting both days. Hotel not that great for the price. Carpet ripped and old. Bathroom floor chipped and old. Food way over priced for taste.

My bed was very uncomfortable and the bathroom did not look clean. I was in room 979. Black stains was on the floor and the bathtub had rust stains and the outside & drain.

This was a great location and our suite had a perfect ocean view. Unfortunately, getting to/from our room was problematic with the elevators only working partially. Also, the city has yet to repair any of the beach access immediate to the front of the hotel, so while we had beautiful ocean views, actually getting on the beach was a more of a chore than we would have liked. Since there was no beach access possible at the hotel itself, no beach lounge chairs or other amenities were available to us to enjoy our time Oceanside. Hopefully both of these issues are resolved soon, because it is an otherwise amazing property.

Nice hotel, good weekend getaway

Facilities were very nice, staff were all very friendly. Nicely located directly on the boardwalk with many fantastic restaurants in close proximity and within the resort. However, the elevators were slow and the lines would get quite long. The showers are also only good for people that are under 5 foot 3(see attached image)

Will not be back. After checking in we went to our room to unpack, ants everywhere in the bathroom. On walls, in towels. Called front desk, they said they would have someone come spray and we needed to leave foe 2 hours. Came back later and ants seemed to be gone. Dead filled ant towels remained. Next morning ants are back in the bathroom and hallway. Called again, was told they would take care of it. Came back later, even more ants.. finally went to the front desk rather than calling, spoke to manager. She apologized and offered free breakfast for our inconvenience and guarantees they will spray again and have the ants removed and to come back in 3 hours when its safe from fumes. Fast forward to checkout, tried to ask "rich" some questions regarding the multiple holds on my card to be inturrupted and spoken to like a child. Will not be return to this hotel.

I have been a loyal Hilton member for over 20 years, but this was by far my worst experience at a Hilton property. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that the hotel was in desperate need of maintenance and renovations. The room was outdated and visibly unclean, with rust in the bathroom, broken tiles, and a bathtub that was far from sanitary. I felt so uncomfortable with the cleanliness that I kept my shoes on at all times and even showered with flip-flops. The pool area was equally disappointing. The jacuzzi had noticeable black and brown buildup along the walls, suggesting poor maintenance, and the pool towels were extremely worn out and in need of replacement. The dining experience was no better. The breakfast restaurant, Doc Bailes, offered a buffet, but the food was cold and unappetizing. I ordered an omelet, only to find it tasted like chalk. Beyond the poor accommodations and amenities, the overall atmosphere of the hotel was concerning. The crowd was unpleasant. The valet service lost my car, resulting in over an hour of waiting to have it returned. The most alarming issue, however, was a shooting incident behind hotel, which made us feel completely unsafe. Although I had originally booked a two-night stay to avoid driving home tired after a long day of competition, we ultimately left early because the conditions were unacceptable and we no longer felt secure. We got a room with a private terrace. Come to find out anyone who took the stairs had to walk across our balcony. Our balcony was accessible to anyone in the building at any time. It was disappointing because we could not leave our door open for the wind at night. It was definitely not private. At one point we woke up and there were people working out on the terrace.
