This was my worst hotel experience in daytona . The hotel is soooooo dirty there is rust on and the carpet the bedding had blood stains the food was so bad and to top it off they closes the beach . I will never take my family there.

The web site is full of many things that are not true. There is no restaurant, the bar just has a few bottles of stuff. No vodka at all. Only 2 types of beer. The rooms sliding patio door barely moved. There is no patio furniture. Breakfast was so bad I couldn't even eat it. When relaying rules/ procedures in writing or on signs was very threatening. All furniture was very dirty. The shower was very moldy and the A/C was very dusty . I am not sure how long it had been since a filter change since the dirt was coming out of the slats. Very little staff present. Every time I went to the lobby, no one was around. One day I was entering the shower and they turned off the water. I called down to the desk and they said they had a boiler problem. They could have slipped a note under the door to let us know. One night we had very bad storms and no pool person was there to take down the umbrellas. They were flying all over and could have hurt someone. There was one lady that was extremely helpful to us. Her name is Kay-Ann. They should hire her a staff for the food and bar and I'm sure she could improve the place. The pool is finished and useable. To get beach access, you have to walk to the front, go around a fence then back to the ocean water. Very disappointing to say the least.

Nice hotel. Good breakfast! On the beach but had to go to the park next-door in order to get on the beach there was no access from the hotel. Only real complaint I would have is that none of the balcony that faced the ocean had any furniture so it was useless to have a balcony where you couldn’t sit outside

It had some pros and cons could have been better

Me and my family checked in Friday night and my room was hot and stuffy couldn’t get the air conditioning to cool off the room. Saturday morning went for the free breakfast and the staff was rude and not enough food. But for the price I paid I didn’t complain because it was right on the beach but it needs some upgrades. The carpet was filthy and the furniture was also dirty.

I paid for oceanfront room and was given a side ocean view room after waiting 2 hours after I checked in to get a room key. Dogs were allowed in common area (pool). The breakfast was mediocre and the servers were rude.

The service from the staff there was really good, but as for the cleanliness of the hotel and the rooms. There was a lot of dirt, and the lack of maintenance in the refrigerators and ice machine made a difference. The ice machine also didn't work.

Given a room on a floor with poor AC. The room also didn’t have working Ac but they helped us solve the issue. The new room we were given didn’t have clean sheets, for instance the couch had stains.

I wasn’t impressed with this hotel at all, I was not told the hotel was under renovation at the time of booking, I booked 2 rooms, I asked for one to be cleaned and it was never done, one room smelled like wet carpet that was molded, I called about it and I was told an overnight manager will come check it out nobody ever came up to check anything. The only thing about that place is they had some amazing staff that was about it. I won’t be booking here again or refer it to other people.

They need to change the furniture in the lobby are dirty and old, they don't have access door to the beach you have to go by the public street, they use the same elevator for maintenance employees with tools, clothes basket etc... They need a lot improvement

While staying at the hyatt, we noticed black mold on one of the lamp shades. Our balcony door would not open and we had to have a maintenance come up. There are no stairs to go up only to go down and there are two elevators that are very small. you're constantly waiting for an elevator. They only had two luggage carts for over a hundred rooms. The parking was very tight and difficult to get out.So if you have a big vehicle, I would suggest not going there. The room appeared to be dirty when we got there. There was still a bobby pin in the bathroom, half under the sink.Like they didn't clean properly. Asked for more towels since we had a family of 5 and there was only 2 in our room and yeah. when housekeeping came to clean our room, and we were told that they were in the laundry. Not only did we get a knot get new towels, which is understandable. But she took the ones we did have hanging up. We said something to the front desk again about towels, and they said they still didn't have any. We again, said something to housekeeping later that night about towels, and we were told that they had to take care of the guests checking in first, and then they would worry about us. We stayed 42 nights and never received any new towels. The bar did not have a menu and never looked like it was open. Most of the snacks were empty that were for sale, and it was just a very disorganized hotel. Would not recommend especially for the price.
