This place is a dump. I don't think I'd stay again if it were free, but $120 is a joke. The woman who checked me in was visibly tweaking and sus, which, okay, whatevs. But the room was disgusting, stains everywhere, it stunk, the heater didn't work. Just really, quite disgusting. Shower curtain was stained with what looked like blood streaks, everything was grimy and gross. This place need to be torn down to the studs.

I’m a loyal customer of the Dakota Inn but was very disappointed this trip. My room had a fan and an air conditioner that made the room humid and hot. It was unbearable. I also had no light in the bathroom area.

This is an old motel that lacks alot of the amenities that some travelers deem necessary. We are NOT those travelers.. place was clean, comfortable, inexpensive, and had a great staff. All of this AND the world's largest pheasant! Our kind of place... thanks for the great stay. 😁

The person who checked me in announced my room number while there were two men in the lobby. These men then followed me out and watched me enter my room. We did not feel safe there. Our room was dirty from the sheets to the bathroom. There was hair in the bed and in the bathroom. The AC did not work. I would not suggest this motel to anyone.

After a day if motorcycling, it was nice to have a warm welcome, cool room, and a beautiful lake to walk around. I haven't been here long yet, but my only complaint is that there is no vent in the bathroom.

Would not recommend

While staying at this motel, we were bitten by bed bugs! Room had trash under one bed when we checked in. Front desk clerk was nowhere to be found so we had to wait an hour to check in!!
