At first, I didn't think I was going to like this property because the parking lot was across the street, and the lot was quite full, so we had to park almost a block away. Also, when we arrived, our room wasn't ready for two additional hours. To make up for our inconvenience, however, the host offered us a meal voucher and a gambling voucher. The room itself was small but clean. The complimentary breakfast was pretty typical, but they did have lemon scones that the kids liked. Even though there is a lot of noise down at the casino and restaurants below, the rooms themselves were quiet. Overall, not a bad option for a night or two.

I liked the cleanliness, staff, & location. I have stayed at many Hampton Inns in the past and have had very good experiences but this time I was not so lucky. The hot water for showers was non existent. I'm not familiar with their system but it desperately needs improvement. Based on that issue, I would not stay there again nor would I recommend it.

Tin Lizzie - Zetocka’s

Loved every second of our stay in Deadwood. The Tin Lizzie’s location, staff, and variety of shops, gambling options…etc. made it a great experience. This is where we plan on staying next time when we come up.

Location was convenient. Room was a little run down feeling. Tried to switch rooms as the beaming exterior lighting was right outside our window lighting the room all night long. Shortened our stay due to this problem.

Absolutely love the new remodel!!! The color scheme is very calming and just makes you feel relaxed! The free breakfast is nothing to brag about. I seriously expected better from a Hampton ,and OMG the breakfast area is so cramped!! The area they call the " bakery " area cosists of these little triangle looking things( scones? Maybe. Size of a quarter and saw dust dry!! Horrible. ) And the strangest thing? No orange juice?! No yogurt and only apples. Hopefully since we talked with some of the management. They confirmed that they still have remodeling to do. I hope that consists of making the breakfast area bigger and thus having up to Hampton standard choices. Will we return? Absolutely!!! ( and have already rebooked ) Free icky breakfast isnt a instant no for us!! Everything else was fantastic! Looking forward to our next stay!

Her trip was both good and bad. The property itself is really nice, but we had issues with a terrible sound in our room that was coming from either the vent or the door seal or something and it was a loud, high pitched wind sound that we had on both nights we stayed there. We couldn't figure out what it was, but it was incredibly annoying and it totally affected our stay. When we did complain to the hotel about it they offered a very small refund but didn't really apologize or make a satisfactory offer for our inconvenience. That kind of irritated me. We did go through Expedia for this property and they tried to help us but also did not come through in the manner which I would have hoped for. It was very minimal for the price that we paid for the room, which I believe was kind of expensive. I don't know that we would stay at that hotel again, but we would use Expedia again.

There was a mix-up at first with our arrival date showing one day later even though I had a confirmation with the date of arrival. They were very accommodating to accept our reservation with a different but satisfactory room. The room was very clean. Housekeeping is not daily, but we were asked if we needed new towels, etc. nearly every day.
