The location was fantastic, the room was "tired" at best. And no hot water when we returned the second night, not acceptable. Front desk lady attempted to work on it, it was better the next a.m. but that required we wake up an hour earlier than planned to be sure. Rooms are dark & "spartan" is a word for the overall accomodations.

Carpet was awful...needs to be replaced ASAP. Everything else was great, bed comfy, new bathroom, fans and lighting great. Yard area and outdoor tables and lounging chairs were wonderful with great walking along the river and views of Mt McKinley !!

The place was cozy. Everything is near by. There is a bar and a heard that it can get rowdy but when we were there it was quiet with an older crowd.

We booked at the last minute and were lucky to get a room. It is bigger than we needed, but comfortable. This is a charming property with a great view of the river and mountains. The staff was friendly and helpful. This is a rustic little town in Alaska. While it is not overly fancy, it is comfortable with lots of amenities. Did i mention the nice people? Highly recommend...

I was very happy with my stay. I was in one of the smaller rooms and it had everything I needed. It’s basic. But clean and the staff are so very nice. They were a number of Denali climbers staying on my hallway. I appreciated the blackout curtains on the windows. I always bring earplugs so the fact that you can hear people talking in the hall and in the next room did not bother me. It was a great location in town. I walked to everything. I would definitely stay here again.

Great Staff and all were helpful and friendly at all times. Thecheckin was handled professionally and the Room was perfect with a beautiful view of the Talkeetna River and the riverside walk. We should have stayed here a bit longer as it is a wonderful location. The Room was clean and had all the amenities and we had a comfortable stay here.
