Lovely clean very spacious room. Convenient for meeting friends and had good accessability facilities.

The room was nice, a couple of biscuits with the tea and coffee would have been good. Also, more milk! Most staff were friendly and helpful. However, in the morning I wanted to buy a cup of coffee - not breakfast. And this seemed to present an enormous challenge! Reception staff said to just go through to the dining area but the first member of staff was flummoxed. Then the second member of staff wondered whether the coffee machine was on (!) A third member of staff took me over to the bar area where there was a coffee machine but then changed his mind and said he'd use the machine in the restaurant area. When I said okay, and that I'd take a seat he said, 'No, come with me.' All this, for a cup of coffee. In a good hotel. So, I said, 'Never mind,' and went across the square, where I bought a good cup of coffee from the Cafe Nero.

Rooms very tired , carpets threadbare our room was freezing cold even the heated towel rail didn’t work

Clean room and very friendly staff- perfect for my needs, and very accessible.

Brilliant stay. All staff were friendly and courteous. We left our bag there before check in and also after check out which was a brilliant perk. The room was amazing and the toiletries were lovely - the handwash smelt devine. Breakfast was good, plenty of options but it was very busy so things did run out but the staff were very quick to refill them. Handy location for the train station. Would stay there again.
