We will never recommend this property to anyone It is falsely pictured and advertised. The shortness of staff needs to be improved. The hot tub and the pool were clean I will give them that besides the lady who runs it did give it her best to accommodate. We checked out early

The hot tub and pool area are immaculate! We were glad to know that the hot tub is drained and cleaned regularly, and this just happened several days ago. The ambiance in the pool area and throughout the entire lodge is lovely! We appreciate the generous pool hours, and the complimentary breakfast. Looking forward to staying here again!

The weekend night staff was excellent! The day staff was subpar and they need management or ownership there on busy weekends. Weird rules and while we were there children had taken over the pool, Jacquzzi and hallways! Running around in wet bathing suits, No supervision of these kids. Parents having picnic in the pool area. No dood and drink rule did not apply in the pool area! Also they still don’t clean rooms for 3 days, pandemic has been over for a while now, hard to get dry towels because they are understaffed. Jacuzzi rooms should be cleaned daily for the price and u need more towels if u get a jacuzzi room. Bar has limited alcohol Once something is gone it is gone until the following week’s delivery and no scotch options! Galena has no Lyft and limited Uber but they can get u a shuttle for $10 a person a ride plus tip! No military or veterans discount at the hotel. And there is no room to move around in the breakfast area it is cramp with tables and hard to get to the breakfast bar without being rude and bumping in to other patrons!

I checked in, they said my room was upstairs and when I told them my daughter was in a wheelchair and we couldn't do stairs they said they didn't have anything on the lower level and rhat they would refund my m9ney back, its been a few days and I still haven't received a refund.

The young girl at the counter was very friendly and polite. She gave me a couple of options when if asked about cab/shuttle service. Teresa/ Connie the night manager was extremely engaging and funny as well as an excellent bartender. She was also thoughtful enough to return the watch that my wife had lost at the bar.

Room was clean and they did honor my request for a ground floor room, as there is no elevator and my 85yr old mother was with us. Breakfast was good, parking lot was very easy to navigate and find parking. We were able to get extra towels and even some playing cards from the front desk to use. Overall happy with our stay.
