Older Location, lacking of updates & quality food

We stayed for 3 days for our anniversary week for the bouncer pass at the Creation Museum & 2 days arc encounter The receptionist that checked us in Tuesday afternoon was extremely patient & kind handling 6 others in from of our confirmation/ we booked on the road/ sadly I forgot her name ugh, sorry, she checked us out Thursday morning as well with the same professional attitude/ very respectable While we were disappointed about the Laundry room quality & equipment being close to broken (dryer) AUSTIN stepped up to the plate with cheerful service to rescue us getting these wet clothes dried, thank you Austin!! We did appreciate the room service making our bed & providing new towels, we may have reused if their was an option available? Maybe we overlooked it? We have enjoyed the charm of the old elevator with the bell … recorded it actually with the hand drawn fire warning … I personally enjoyed the gym very much The worst disappointment was the eggs & sausage every morning for 3 days, that was inedible & plain disgusting, whoever is in charge if that food budget should eat a plate Just no excuse to serve those 2 items, the whole breakfast bar definitely had room for improvement, the coffee was hit & miss on brewing strength Other than that we enjoyed our stay, felt home, loved the shower & hard effort of the staff making us feel like home Thank you again for doing a great job making us feel at home with the resources you had available We will be back GBU

Hotel is a little run down. Bed was terrible. Very lumpy & had a crease down the right side like they added a piece of foam to extended the size of the bed, from queen to king. Also they charged me for having an ADA Service dog which is against Kentucky law. We will not stay there again
