This luxury condo combines high-end finishes with cozy mountain charm, offering everything you need for a relaxing getaway.

After a day of adventure, unwind by the gas fireplace, stream your favorite shows on the Ultra HD Smart TV, or take in sunset views from your private deck. With an open layout, loft-style bedroom, and a queen Murphy bed on the main level, this home is ideal for couples or small families seeking a peaceful mountain escape.

ON-SITE AMENITIES AT THE LODGE INCLUDE: indoor pool, outdoor heated pool, outdoor hot tub, sauna, steam shower, fitness center, golf at a special discounted rate, tennis, pickleball, playground, 3 on-site restaurants, and event center. There is an EV Charging Station available for guest use in the Valley Clubhouse parking lot, adjacent to the Tamarron Lodge. Our Tamarron rental guests can play Glacier's 18-hole Valley Course at an exclusive discounted rate. Details will be provided in your rental instructions. There is a $20 per person ski shuttle to purgatory on weekends - tickets must be purchased in advance and the pick-up location is in the Valley Clubhouse parking lot.

LOCATION: Tamarron sits at around 7800 feet in elevation and is just 10 minutes south of Purgatory Ski Resort and 20 minutes north of downtown Durango. Many guests stay here to visit Purgatory Ski Resort, which offers a variety of restaurants, winter and summer activities, and festivals/events.

Getaway in the mountains

Walking in I felt a sense of home....warm and inviting. It was everything that I expected. I was pleasantly surprised to find a bottle of wine welcoming me on the kitchen counter. The condo was very clean and it was the right size to enjoy time away in the mountains. I enjoyed the fireplace at nights and reading on the deck with guests of pheasants, squirrels and various birds. It was out of town and yet the distance of 16 miles was just right. John was very helpful in answering my questions. He filled me in on the activities, places to eat and the use of the health club and restaurant. I hope to come back in the near future as it is a place I would enjoy staying at again! Thank you John for letting me stay at your beautiful home.

Perfect Getaway!!!

This was a charming property that we look forward to staying at again!! It had everything we could have needed and then some. For me personally the Roku with headphones in the master was the perfect surprise! With the open concept it’s needed for the night owls like myself to not bother other family members while binging some Netflix late at night. I have one at home too and love it. The jetted tub was a very welcome edition after days of skiing at purgatory!! I think the location was the perfect distance from the resort and Durango. We’ve stayed in many vacations homes and this one was definitely one of my favorites! We hope to come back to the area for a summer vacation to take advantage of what the area offers when it’s not a ski resort area. Lovely home and very attentive hosts who made sure we were well taken care of. Will definitely be back!!!

Great Place To Stay

This place is absolutely amazing. Our family of 4 stayed here for our 1st tip up to Durango this winter for a ski trip. The condo is located in a prime spot for short access to the town of Durango and Purgatory Ski Resort. The views are wonderful and the resort fitness center and pools were up to date and a great addition to our stay. The condo is decorated very nicely and has everything you could ever ask for. The interior made us feel right at home with updated furnishings, reliable wifi, plenty of cable tv channels and movies on hand. The kitchen had all the counter space you could ever need along with very nice gas stove and 2 ovens.. I would highly recommend staying here if you need a place to stay in the Durango area. Thanks again John and Jan for letting us enjoy your beautiful condo we had a wonderful time and look forward to coming back!!!

Wonderful Stay!

My family stayed in this wonderful rental over our children's spring break so we could ski at Purgatory. It is the perfect location between town and the ski mountain. We come to Durango twice every winter to ski and have stayed at other units in the same complex, but this was by far our favorite. The rental is very comfortable with plenty of couches to relax, comfortable beds and is nicely decorated. The kitchen was a big plus with a really nice stove that we enjoyed cooking at after long days of skiing. The view from the condo is beutiful and we all enjoyed one morning waking up to the golf course and mountain out the glass doors covered in snow.

Great condo!

This is an excellent location due to the short distance to the ski area and easy drive into town. The condo itself was the perfect size for our party of 3 and we had more than enough room due to the 1500 sq feet. The furnishings were top of the line and look forward to coming back.

Great weekend getaway

We stayed at the Tamarron resort while visiting Durango for the first time and loved it! John and Jan’s home is a home away from home with everything you could possibly need. We were down the road from purgatory and a short drive away from Durango. We were so comfortable in the condo and loved the location! John and Jan made us feel so welcome and responded quickly whenever we needed something. We will definitely be booking with them in the future when we return!
