Front desk representative was welcoming but not overly so. I asked her about walking to a drug store and she stated I couldn’t because it was a mile away. When I told her I could walk a mile, she said it was impossible because I would have to walk across the causeway. I was attending a concert at the Benchmark International Arena and asked her a question about distance between the hotel and the arena and she had never heard of the arena. A male representative next to her did a google search and gave me some information. After I deposited my luggage, I went outside and one of the bell boys told me about a convenience store within walking distance and I walked there. I think the representative who waited on me doesn’t understand what real customer care looks like. It was as if her only job was to check me in. And she also said my room number aloud and I thought that was a no-no.
