the bathroom door hinge was broken so that it could not be closed completely (no privacy) Worse yet, we were awoken at 1:30 AM by loud yelling, banging and loud footsteps above. It continued for over an hour. I called the front desk twice because it sounded like a domestic dispute and I was concerned

The room was quite dark with very limited lighting, which made it uncomfortable, especially during the evening. We were also charged for parking even though we parked off site, which required us to dispute the charge. Unfortunately, the attendant was not very pleasant during that process. Overall, this took away from what could have been a better stay.

The Edgewater Courtyard by Marriott is steps away from sweeping sights of the iconic New York City skyline, which makes the window views very attractive. The guest room was prepared, organized, clean and spacious. Breakfast was delicious and the staff was very kind. Internet Access/Breakfast was FREE. The king size bed was so comfortable, I overslept and almost missed breakfast. Thank God for the kitchen staff who allowed me to get coffee and a few breakfast items that were left before cleaning up.
