The room was shockingly small — it was almost the exact same size as the bed, with barely any space to move around. In the morning, the bathroom had a very strong, unpleasant smell, and the entire room had a funky odor that made the stay uncomfortable. For almost $200 per night, I expected much better. It was absolutely not worth the price, and I am extremely disappointed with my experience.

Room was nice with good shower and very nice soaps and lotions. Didn't like the bins from the bar getting emptied noisily at all hours. The lift not working was an issue especially when there are tour buses staying. Mayhem at breakfast.

Room was extremely small. It wasn’t large enough to open my suitcase on the floor and difficult to get into the shower. But it was clean, comfortable bed, and less than a mile walk to downtown. If you’re traveling on a budget and just looking for a place to sleep at night, this property works.

It was not in a very nice area - Old and Newtown are much better - and although the room was OK (2 star), the area around it felt unclean and perhaps unsafe after dark. We spent one night after an all-nighter flight from the USA then moved to New Town, St. Andrew's Square area.

If you are carrying luggage bag this hotel is not for you, Tiny rooms! Room has one electricity plug the phone is already plugged in, another usb C and usb A are available but not very useful when all your devices are usb C! I had bad time managing this

Yes a is a good one

The hotel was perfect to move around in Esiburgh, buses, train, tram and taxi all easily available. Plenty if option ti dine around. The room is humble and got a bed, tv, hungers and bathroom, no more soace for a big lugage nor exercise. There was only 1 lift for the 7 floors. So some time it got a bit tedious to wait for it. Other wise all good!

Overpriced, noisy, small and uncomfortable

Not a pleasant stay. Expensive for a 'cosy' room. Cosy I assume is their way of saying small. Not much room to fit in the shower. Very tight squeeze to walk around the bed. Both nights there was regular banging from staff outside, between 4 and 6am. This included emptying bottle bins and what sounded like loading lorries. Cleaners banging vacuum cleaners against the bedroom door very early in the morning. The lifts were broken. One put of order, the other was inconsistent with it's ability to open the door.

It was ok for a short stay

The guys at the reception were sensational. Dawn, Marco, etc. The room was tiny and I originally requested 2x single beds as my mom and sis were the ones staying there so they weren't very comfortable. Also they mentioned it was quite noisy as the location is pretty much where many people passes by. Apart from that, it was just fine.

Great location near train station

This is in a GREAT location. Literally right across from the train station. It was a bit noisy at night with doors slamming in the hallway. Nice blackout shades kept the light out.

Very comfortable stay!

Room was smaller than expected but sitll comfortable and gave us everything required. TV remote didn’t work so unfortunately didn’t get to use that but that equally wasn’t the focal point of the stay. Great location and convenient to walk into town or right by lots of public transport links.
