For a hotel that sports the name of Holiday Inn I expected so much more. I had to park 2 blocks away in the over flow lot because the main lot is too small. The hotel is older and looks quite run down with holes in the concrete walls throughout the stairwells and during my stay there was a maintenance worker touching up the rough baseboards on my floor. Not a great sight to behold. For the price i paid per night I would likely not return and instead find something a little more up-kept and updated. The restaurant only serves breakfast. No lunch or dinner but they did have an Indian style restaurant attached to the hotel which is fine as long as you like that style of food. Luckily this hotel was right around the corner from Jasper Ave where so many other restaurants are. The pool and hot tub were under maintenance multiple days during my stay which was also a huge inconvenience. The saving grace of this property is the wonderful staff. They are very polite and friendly. Unfortunately the value for money just isn’t there.

The staff was very wonderful, they helped us when we realized we didn't have a credit card! Our room key stopped working and there was no hesitation in walking up with us when the key still didn't work the 2nd time. Breakfast was amazing!! So many options and it was fresh, i was very impressed by the pancake maker!!!

Welcoming and Comfortable stay.

Our family stayed at the Holiday Inn Downtown Edmonton, and the experience was great! The location couldn’t have been better for our families event at the Kinsmen pool. The rooms were clean and comfortable, the breakfast was great, and above all the staff were absolutely amazing. They all showed a lot of care for our stay and repeatedly made sure our needs were met. Ali, and everyone at the front desk are the reason we will be sure to return.

Perfect for a quick overnight business stay. Everything was accommodated. Friendly staff, quiet room, good internet for conference call, walking distance to legislature, and great breakfast options. 24 hour car parking from time of check in was an added bonus.

Stay was good, and hotel and service was great. Was not impressed that the movie rental service was not available due to me pre-booking and the hotel was not able to provide for some reason. Also the parking cost has increased to $20 a night, this is substansially higher than the last time we stayed at this hotel. I feel the cost of the parking should be included with the cost of the stay.
