I appreciated the call before check in to inform me of the elevator issues. And putting me on the second floor made the situation a anon issue! The staff were great and the room was very nice.

The elevator was out of order, therefore it was carry large suitcases up 2 flights of stairs or opt for 1st floor. Opted for room on ground floor, which was facing the parking lot. Cars/trucks were backed up to the window, hence no privacy (had to keep drapes closed all the time). Meaning the room was dark and shadowy from lamps/lights provided. Room air was stale and needed fresh air, but windows do not open? Upon check in, receptionist suggested new restaurant with-in the hotel,"all you can eat sushi restaurant". All you can eat for 90 minutes? Service is really bad! It took 15 minutes to order drinks, another 10 minutes to explain the menu and ordering form, 'only allowed 1 order form per table at a time'? If you would like to order more, another order form must be filled out, but only if you can get a waiter/waitress attention. At the end of the night if you had any sushi leftover, you MUST pay $1 per each sushi on top of your $42 all you can eat (+drinks) bill (with a gracious option to leave it or take it home, but still must pay for it). Overall, very poor service from hotel to restaurant!

Pool and elevators not working. Balcony had garbage on it. HVAC had just come back online and I was told to “open a window” if it was still too hot. And when I called directly to hotel the day before my arrival (see why below) there was no mention at any of those problems - I was only informed of same when I showed up in person to check in. Booking early check-in via text does not result in a confirmation email or text, and when I called the hotel to confirm my early check-in request the attendant could not confirm that I had in fact checked in nor could he confirm that the hotel normally sends a text providing an early check in opportunity. Since I had to provide a credit card and a photo of my ID and thereafter could not confirm the check-in, I was left wondering if the text was fake and that I had just experienced identity theft. Terrible process from start to finish!

Mixed feelings about this place. When I seen the outside of the hotel I was disappointed I booked here. Staff was accomidating, but elevator was out with a 4 level hotel. Was upgraded to a suite but there were stains on all the furniture and the hotel is definitely dated. Bed felt like it was a mattress on a piece of plywood. And when I seen the toilet it made me question if the rest of the room had even been cleaned.

There was an issue with the toilet clogging as apparently the person who stayed in the room before us had flushed a soap bar down the toilet. It made our morning rather stressful due to our tight schedule.

The hotel had a significant issue with electricity and no AC on this trip. The Staff were excellent and tried to compensate for everything well. The good point was the night was cooler and rainy thus the balcony doors could be opened as the AC was not working at all.

Venue was great, Fire alarm just killed the entire mood at 2am. Had to evacuate outside until 4am. ( with my 2 year old and 5 year old.) And we had no power for the remainder of our stay. Had to check out due to no power after awhile.
