Had a great stay at The Westin, downtown Edmonton. The room was great, the bed was comfortable, everything was very clean. The gym wasn't great, very small and cramped, but I was able to do everything I need to. The surrounding area downtown Edmonton is very sketchy. Lots of homeless and drugs. Tried to never be out and about past 8.

Lovely hotel right in downtown. Short walk to Roger’s Place and lots of restaurants/ entertainment/ recreation spots, including the River Valley Walks. Professional & very friendly staff.

Main areas of the hotel are up to Westin Standards but I found my room to be dated, and not what I would expect from a Westin property. Sadly disappointing, would choose other options in the area in future.

Great location for a visit to the social area of downtown Edmonton. Very clean but doesn't smell like cleaning chemicals black out blinds are very helpful for a light sleeper.

Wonderful staff. Had an upgrade for joining membership. Lovely treats brought to room. Had issues with tv and serviceman was sent up right away. When issue couldn’t be resolved, we were moved to the next room with no issue. Very accommodating 👌

Thank you for making the effort to make my stay comfortable and enjoyable. The homeless and drug users in Edmonton are truly tragic. They are everywhere around this city and seems there is nothing the hotel staff and or law enforcement can do and as a result, it makes this area feel unsafe and somewhat scary to walk around the city.

The staff service was attentive and professional but the building is showing its age..there were water stains and dropping plaster from my ceiling. But worst is the downtown area - it is completely unsafe as soon as you step off the property. Confrontations with people high on drugs /with mental illness were routine including by a person armed with a metal rod. As a single female I would not stay here again because it felt extremely unsafe as soon as I was off the property.
