I wouldn't stay again

Of course another trip where you are too tired to change hotel's. Our room had a strong plug in smell and we couldn't find it. I have asthma so i slept with the sheet over my head. The window looked out at a indoor pool.

Loved the pool area

This is an older hotel that is set-up weirdly inside. The bed was comfortable and the a/c worked perfectly. The area around the pool looks like a rainforest. We jad to go through it to reach the elevator to get to our room. Breakfast was really good and the breakfast room was very nice.

Great hotel for family's

The hotel was very clean staff was very friendly ice and laundry room had alot very convenient swimming pool was great could of been a little warmer loved the outside patios the beds were comfortably if i could think of something to better the hotel it would be nice not to have adults drinking in pool area with kids swimming if i come back to Kentucky i will be staying in the hotel again with my grandbabies

Check in went well. 1). Walked into the room and the kids thought someone was in there already. The tv was on. Weird. We looked everyone for someone in the room/hiding and luckily found no one. This was weird. 2) went to the atrium to swim and hang out w family. The kids swam and wanted to play ping pong on the ping pong table. There were no paddles to play or ping pong balls. They went to the desk to ask for supplies and were told we had to bring our own if we wanted to play. 3) My girls went to take a bath after swimming and when trying to turn off the water, they couldn’t get it off. They couldn’t get the water off. I ran in to help them and I too was unable to get it turned off. I at least was able to get it not on full blast, but it was still coming out fast. I went to call the front desk and the phone in the room was inoperable. I realized it was unplugged, but was too short to reach the cord and the water was coming out of the faucet fast. I ran to the office to tell them about the faucet and the phone. 4) we were moved to 2 different rooms. One smelled of strong smoke, the other of weed. Nope! We had to stay in our original room. No shower for us. 5) maintenance man knocked on the door at 12:15am. No! He returned at 7:40. I was out by 8am the next morning just so he could get in. 5) I was told we’d receive compensation back for this stay and I’d get a call from the manager. I’ve called every day since and still cannot connect with him.

The check in staff was wonderful!!. The young lady for check out needed to know how to deal with older guests. She treated our 83 year old mother poorly. Patience is an important quality in the area of hospitality. Otherwise our stay was very nice!

Like the outdoor areas, the pool area with plenty of seating, and friendly staff. Did not like the bathroom In our room the bathtub/shower was not clean. Visible leftover blue soap and hairs. Overall ok stay.

Found 2 bugs in my room killed one. Left it on a wash cloth in the room. I had on white socks. Walked to the bathroom my socks were black. I took a towel and scrubbed bathroom floor.
