We were attending a funeral in the area so decided to stay close by and chose the Budget Inn. It’s an older motel so not everything looks fresh and new of course but our room was clean. The only thing I would say to the owners is to replace the towels and washcloths. They were stained and a little thread bare. A fresh cup of coffee and maybe a muffin and some fruit in the morning would have been really nice.

You get what you pay basically for is the theme Here. but I was charged more because my husband forgot to say we had reservation and when we we told her about that we forgot we were both told it was too late anyway and not to go through Expedia.

Nice friendly host, room a little bit dated but clean, only complaints were AC was loud and struggled to cool the room and the bed was a bit too hard for my liking. Otherwise a value and a good place for a quick stopover.

Not worth the savings!

The air conditioner did not work and the room was hot & stuffy. The fan came on but no cold air. No way to move the air around since it was in the top of a wall next to the bathroom alcove. Price of room, though cheap, was to much for what you got. Beds were hard, pillows thin, no air conditioning.

I stayed here 2 weeks ago when driving to visit family in Michigan and was given the same room and rate in the way back. I'm the type that just wants a clean room comfortable bed and a shower as I travel cross country. This place is a bit old and dated, and needs more outlets but overall, it is clean, convienent and the staff/owners are friendly.
