Property was under construction and nobody told us. They painted the inside pool area which caused terrible paint fumes all way to the 3rd floor. We all experienced nausea and extreme headaches. My mother is 82 and we were concerned about her health and what she was feeling. So I decided the best thing was to go down the street to the Hampton Inn. The staff was understanding, not the way we wanted to start our Girls trip.

When we booked the hotel online, the pictures they represented it was of a beautiful, remodeled hotel with a nice swimming pool and a beautiful parking area and the rooms in the guest areas were very nice but when we got there, the hotel was under construction they had plenty of mess inside the parking lot. There was construction vehicles. The inside had materials laying all over the floor. The pool was not completed. It was totally demolished. The hallways were painted and done, but they were done very slowly. The rooms inside were not finished. Our restroom did not even. . The rooms inside we’re not finished. Our restroom. Did not even have any towel racks to hang on our towels on and also the air conditioning heating unit inside. The room was not satisfactory. It didn’t work properly. Had we known that this was under construction we would’ve never stayed there. It wasn’t worth the money that we spent at all. The staff was friendly enough, but there was very little staff, and in fact, they maintain the property on a daily basis of changing the beds and doing the rooms. It was a family oriented business..

Staff was pleasant. Property was undergoing renovation which made it less convenient. One line of electric outlets and under cabinet lighting in kitchen area did not work. Reported it to the front desk but nothing was done. Rooms were clean and beds were comfortable.

the property was going through renovations and was just a mess. The pool was closed, but the website that I went through didn't tell you that. The elevator was the slowest in the world and there was just nothing great about my stay. I think that the price should have been about half of what they charged since it was such a dirty mess.

The room was excellent but the lobby and first floor was under construction and terrible for the cost for the stay! The outside grounds are trashed breakfast did not start until 7am. Too cheap to start at 6 am where most other hotels start! I wish I would have take. Photos!

This hotel was well-rated, but they were in a full blown remodel. This was not identified at the time I booked. I looked specifically for a pool. This had one, but under construction. And so this feature was misrepresented. They seemed to be working in spaces and not in others. Our room was a King with adjoining room. The door in between was all taped off for painting. Our room was partially done. There was grout on the floor from tiling in bathroom, light fixture had paint splattered. The sink drain could not be closed to use to put in contact lens as there was no drain stem to pull the drain closed. There was no blow dryer available. There was new carpeting in the hallways, but it was not vacuumed and lots of debris from the remodel covered this carpeting. I do feel the bedding was clean and the breakfast was decent. Could hear lots of noise above during the night. The hotel staff were very polite and tried their best to make lemonade out lemons. 2 stars is probably a very generous review.
