The floors was dirty, my daughters socks were very dirty from walking around in the room. The ref. was sitting on 2 cut off 2x4 boards every time you touched it would shake. Stayed one night & that was enough for me.

The room was in good condition, however we did not have any hot water when taking a shower, the water was lukewarm and the room was not supplied with tissue, soap or towels when we checked in. These items should have already been supplied before the guest arrived.

Room was dirty night stand was sticky and dirty , lamps were rusty, towels were dirty floor was dirty , white stuff on head boards , mold in bathroom. limited access to ice machine . I opted to pay at location and it was taken out of my account 2 days before arriving , and charged my card for $100 incidentals. They said they would only refund me 2 nights waiting on it to hit my bank.

I always say when we stay somewhere its not for the hotel/motel but we do want something clean and safe. Lake Erie Lodge was just that. Its in the perfect location.The man that I talked to in the office while we were there was so nice and helpful. We went on the off season so a lot of things were closed but the things we wanted to do were not far from this location at all. I will definately be looking at the Lake Erie Lodge again when we go back.

When I was able to enter my room with an old-fashioned key, I should have known what I was in for. There were no towels, nor even amy toilet paper. I had to call the hotel to get some brought over. Then I noticed what I thought was a multitude of mold spots all over the bathtub. It turns out those were burn stains from previous occupants. Seriously. Then in the morning when I went to shower I discovered pubic hairs in the back of the shower. But this is nothing for when I discovered human feces (!!!) on the floor next to the toilet! (When I mentioned it at checkout (the guy was AWOL, do I had to wait 15 minutes), all he said was, "oh, sorry man." Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere. Who knows what other evils lurk in this place?!?

Didnt even stay, would love my money back. Was in the "room" for about 2 minutes. The bed is 3 inches from the parking lot, the brown stains on the matress cover corners screamed bed bugs... but i did feed them... because in the 2 minutes we were there, i forgot my crab cakes there. It was a double bummer.
