The Two Bit Ranch House was the perfect home for our family of five to use as a base camp during our week exploring the Grand Staircase Escalante National Monument wilderness. It was spacious, super clean, and well stocked with all the amenities to make the stay easy. The owner was responsive and friendly in the communications we had with her. It was one of the easiest vacation rentals I've stayed at regarding check in, check out, available amenities, and general comfort of the home. The beds were comfortable and the sheets soft after a long day of hiking. I'd give it more stars if I could. Thank you for the wonderful stay!

Thoroughly enjoyed the stay in Escalante and at this house in particular! The location was great as we were able to access several hikes around the area, including Bryce Canyon. The house itself, was perfect for Grma/pa, Mom, Dad and 3 kids (7, 4 and 1 yo) as it had a well stocked kitchen, porta-crib, some games and books for the kids which was not expected, but a nice surprise. We cooked all our meals, including a Thanksgiving dinner, for the week so a well-stocked kitchen with dishes, pans, etc was much appreciated.

Excellent location, so clean!!!

We loved our stay at Two Bit Ranch. It was the perfect home for our family and a great location for us to go to all the places we wanted to explore. We ended up driving to our destinations on Hole-in-the-Rock road for three of our days and took an unplanned trip to Bryce Canyon on a snowy day. The home was well equipped (they even had cinnamon and sugar) and SO CLEAN!! We loved that we got to control the thermostat and use the garage. Thank you so much for a perfect stay!

Exceeded our expectations!

Great spot, close to hikes and well appointed house. Very clean and spacious. Great to have a dishwasher and laundry. If you are looking for fantastic pizza and wine, visit “The Outfitters”!

Perfect accommodations for group of adults exploring Escalante.

We had 4 couples and a couple of single folks needing a place to stay while going to Peek-a-Boo and Spooky slot canyons along with other sites like hole-in-the-Wall. We ate some meals at restaurants and other in the house. Everyone thought the house was perfect.

Comfortable home

We are a family of 7 adults who hiked some of the Escalante canyons. The house was perfect for our group with plenty of space and a well stocked kitchen to cook our evening feasts. The pictures on verbose do not do it justice!

Great Central Location

Escalante Adventure

We stayed at the Two Bit Ranch House in Escalante, Utah from April 16th to 20th 2023. The location was perfect for us to allow visiting many parts of southern Utah, such as the Grand Staircase, Bryce, Capital Reef and Kodachrome. The house is very roomy with multiple bedrooms and a fully livable basement. This is a very quiet area to stay in a very roomy ranch. A few things could be updated including the locking mechanism of a main level bedroom window (broken) and a leaky clothes washer machine. Also, we came across 30-40 loose 9mm bullets in the master bedroom, bedside table, top drawer. We were not worried for our own safety with no obvious gun in the house but I'd worry about small kids getting into it. We really, really liked the use of the two-car garage and some of the outdoor games available looked like a lot fun. I think if it had been a little warmer in April we would have had more time on the back porch that is well-equipped with an outdoor table and chairs and numerous Adirondack chairs. Very sweet setup. Great wifi service so we could expect good reception for zooming our regular exercise classes during our stay and have fast internet speed for TV and devices. Fiberoptics? It’s fantastic. We would return to this rental for it’s reasonable pricing, lots of room and the sweet town of Escalante. Nice to see a lot less traffic in this area of southern Utah! And a lot less off-road vehicles than what you often see and hear in the Moab area.

Nicest house in the neighborhood

House was very nice, clean and well stocked. It could easily house 6+ couples. I would recommend this rental to any of my friends. Escalante is a awesome little town with everything from grocery stores, hiking supplies, awesome restaurants and COFFEE SHOPS.

Wonderful Family Stay

After backpacking for a few days in Coyote Gulch, our family was ready for a more comfortable place to stay while enjoying day hikes in the Escalante area. This was it! House and property were great, extremely comfortable and lots of nice little things to make everything special (even pancake syrup in the fridge!). Loved it.
