Great place to stay. Weird coffee shop set-up, so we skipped that. Bring a flashlight for the parking lot, as it's dangerously dark & the lights on the pole were not working.

This was our first time staying at Terrace Bay. We were happy they were kid friendly and had a pool. The coffee shop in the lobby was a great surprise for breakfast! Rooms were nicely redone and worked great for our family. We will look to stay again!

We stayed in the renovated area and got an upgrade to a lake view room. Room was great and the view was amazing. Efficient check in where staff shared all the amenities. We were excited and had a great time with the kayak rental (free). The in building coffee shop was great as was the on site restaurant. The family had a great time.

After a long trip in the Upper peninsula this was a wonderful experience. Beautiful view of the Lake and 2nd nicest hotel we have ever stayed in. Will talk about a great experience here forever

Few disappointments but overall loved it.

No body wash soap on shower, tissues only a few left, water wouldn't drain in bath sink. Had difficult time finding check-in. Big sign needed. But view and hospitality excellent.

Sunrise views in a clean, modern hotel.

This is a very nice hotel. Our waterfront view was wonderful, including colorful sunrise views from generous sized windows. The restaurant looked busy so the food must be good. It was too pricey for our taste.

It’s beautiful! On a bay, beautiful view from the pool. Temp on pool area warm southeast great to swim. The restaurant was great, drinks and bartenders were outstanding, view was great. There was a singer playing in the bar. Lovely.

Rooms have been updated. Our room had a kitchen but no silverware, cookware or dishes. Why provide a stovetop, frig and kitchen but nothing to use with it. Also room on main level on the end was NOT private st all!!! Virw was great though

Our stay at Terrace Bay was nothing short of awesome! We were traveling through the UP to see family in lower Michigan and booked due to the listing information. The room (in the new addition) was exceptional. It was clean with good amenities but not too overboard for a UP hotel. We were able to also eat dinner at the restaurant and I cannot remember when I had a meal that good in a long time. The food was excellent, the dessert was decadent, and the service was beyond exceptional. The only “complaint” (not even a complaint) is that you will spend a bit more then typical for a meal if you are considering other dining options in the UP but it’s 100% worth it. The whole package is a perfect balance of UP hospitality with modern tastes and service. We will be back and we will be recommending it.
