We made a reservation to stay during a concert we had bought tickets for and the property called, told us they were overbooked for that weekend and canceled our stay. They did refund our money, but by that time there was literally nothing available for about a 100 mile radius of the venue. Why list on Expedia if you have no problem canceling people’s reservations?? Will never book with them again.
In the ads this came off as a self-contained resort area. It's not really anything of the sort. It's just a few cabins and a restaurant. When we got there the restaurant was closed claiming they don't open the restaurant on Mondays. This was of course never disclosed in the listing. We were directed to a place called the Izaak Walton LOGE Inn/bar and grill 6 miles down the road and immediately wished we had booked there instead. Better hotel for similar price. It also didn't help that halfway through the evening the air conditioner started shaking and rattling like crazy. When I went to inquire about it I was told that 'a part had been ordered and would be arriving in a few days to fix' when I explained that it didn't do me any good at that moment and let the sound of so loud it would be impossible to sleep.... it was actually louder than the constant freight trains passing by. when I asked about an alternate room, I was told that there was no other rooms available. However one look outside at the lack of other vehicles clearly confirmed that this was simply a lame false excuse.
We had an easy check-in, staffs were accomodating. Our room is well kept, they changed our towel and took our trash everyday. The place is located by the highway and behind has a train railway track. We can hear train and cars passing through but we were able to sleep otherwise. I found mess under our bed which seems to be there for a quite a while, and cobwebs.
What I also like is the place nestled approximately 25 mins away from west entrance and 35 mins away from st mary entrance. On our 2nd day we use the west entrance til logan pass on our 3rd st mary all the way to west entrance. Just hope they will clear the back side since the grass is already by the window. Recommend this place.
We loved staying at Glacier Haven Inn. It is a family run business and they were so kind to us. The cabin was very cute and quaint. The cabin we stayed in didn’t have a bathroom but the bath house was right next store and very clean. I was impressed with how well maintained and clean everything was. It is very close to the Glacier east entrance, only about 15 minutes away. The restaurant on the property has very good homemade Chinese food as well. All around we loved our stay!
I reserved a cabin and was told upon arrival that we didnt reserve a cabin and all they had was the end motel room for us. I never would have paid what I paid for a motel room. The room itself was adequate but the bathrrom was not. We had small bugs fly into the lights all night because the bathroom window was being held shut with a piece of plastic bag. It was very disappointing.
Room size was nice and clean. She was very friendly and easy check in. The cafe was never opened which was disappointing because that wad one reason for picking this place. No coffee available in the room so you had to drive in to get that. It didn't bother us much but there is a train that runs behind the inn all hours of the night. They do not blow their horn though so that was nice.
No restaurant and middle of nowhere. No service. This was not mentioned in the property details page. This should have been a refundable booking so that customers can cancel/change booking once they find out more about the property.
We really e joyed our stay at Glacier Haven RV park.
The service we received from Steve was amazing, always so friendly and went out if our way to help us when we got locked out of our van.
Loved the room too! So cute and Cody.
Would definitely stay again and recommend it. Great value for money in a place that can be quite pricey in general.
Thank you again!
I stayed in a cabin that hasn’t been updated from the 1700’s. Expensive and staff had more stupid rules the I thought were possible. No bathroom or sinks in cabin. Need to walk to community bath house. 20 miles from Glacier Nation Park was nice. Everything was closed at motel because of Covid. Avoid at all costs
Worst service I have ever delt with! No WiFi, everything was out dated and she charged me $50 for assuming I slept on top of the comforter!!! Absolute worst service! Nothing like letting your guests know your lack of cleaning. I would never recommend or stay there again.
Amazing place to stay. Very clean, very friendly owner.

The woman who runs the place has a strange restriction about sleeping in between the blankets. If you sleep on top of the blankets, she'll charge you $50 extra. On its own, this requirement is that bad. But it made me suspicious as to whether or not she was washing both the sheets and the blankets. There also is no WiFi and a train runs right past the building.
Clean friendly and peaceful....without internet for two nights but it taught us to enjoy each other and nature and never missed a thing... Thank You Glacier Haven... we will be back!! ❤️😘 AWESOME
