Nice property overall, but the air conditioning did not work and when I called the front desk she said it was too late to adjust as it had to be done with all the rooms on the same floor?! Also our door was super loud and heavy - every time we opened or left it was make a ridiculous sound slamming.

We absolutely loved our stay here. The atmosphere of the room was fantastic! Roomy, up to date, lighting and cleanliness was absolutely great. I’m saving this place for future visits.

I cannot believe how this establishment has such high reviews. Oh my god. I’ve been in my room for less than an hour and I can hear EVERY SINGLE MOVE the person above me is making. Every single step, their rolling suitcase, them going to the bathroom… literally *everything*. The girl at check in didn’t bother to tell me my room didn’t have any air when I checked in, and when I called to find out what was going on because I couldn’t figure out how to turn it on THEN she told me there was an issue and offered me a box fan. I’m paying over $400 to be here for less than 18 hours. This is beyond insane. I should’ve booked at the Holiday Inn. The fixtures are literally falling off the walls. WHAT IS EVEN HAPPENING?!?!

The staff was amazing, however our room ac is inoperable and there was no maintenance person staffed to repair the problem. The front desk gal was amazing and did all she could to try to fix it but the temperature in our room was stifling so we had to pack up and move to another hotel at 8pm. Still waiting for a full refund…to be continued

Stay was OK but we felt it was very expensive for the facilities they had to offer. Bathroom door did not even close properly. Only convenience was the location since it was near all restaurants and just 10 mins drive from Rocky Mountain entrance. I would do more research next time

The exterior of property walkways had bird dropping all over the place. The rooms were very expensive for the quality. No mountain views and the noise from the room above suggested very poor insulation.

So far, so great! We checked in about an hour ago. Welcomed with complimentary s'mores to roast by the back fire pit - so fun! The staff who checked us in were super nice!

I do not recommend this place. We arrived at Trailborn Rocky Mountains around 11 p.m. When we got to our room, I noticed that the bedding looked like someone had already slept there, even though it was made. So I pulled back the covers and discovered that the bedding was NOT clean. It was very obviously used by the previous guests, and there was blood on the sheets. We also noticed that the room smelled of sewage and the AC was not working. We notified the front desk, and they moved us to another room that also had no working AC. They then decided to move us back to the first room and brought us clean sheets. We decided to leave immediately and went to another hotel due to the smell and lack of air conditioning... We were told by a staff member that the units are shared between guest rooms—so if your neighbor wants the AC on 78 and you want it on 66, the air won’t turn on for your bedroom. The manager was informed of the situation and never attempted to call us to make things right, but Expedia did on our behalf. Save your money and go somewhere else.

The 1st is very noisy. We were constantly woke by the sound from upstairs. I do like the location of the hotel, minimalist design, but the sound proofing is an issue. If we stay here again, will ask for the second floor.
