The front desk staff was not friendly. The room was in poor shape, the curtains were torn, the bedspreads were snagged and the room smelled. I travel a lot and this was one of the worst hotels I stayed. But the restaurant was very pleasant.

Nothing new here except the new price. Approximately 40% more than what I paid last year. The quality of the breakfast has gone down considerably. It used to increase the value of the stay but now it’s not worth paying for. Will look elsewhere next time I stay in Evanston.

It looks like an older property but when we got into our room it was very clean. Good location with one of the busiest thrift stores I’ve been to right across the street. We found some little treasures. Best free breakfast we’ve had at this level of hotel. Staff is very friendly. Attached restaurant is nice. We ate in the bar side but the one person working that side couldn’t keep up. Ribeye was enjoyable, somewhere between a 3or4 out of 5. Fun playing Keno while we ate. Happy hour 5-6 is great value.

Didn’t get what we paid for

We thought we booked a room with 2 queen beds. It turned out to be 1 queen bed, which doesn’t work well for three people. My husband ended up sleeping on the very short loveseat. The motel is dated.
