Knoll House 4 Bedrooms Each With Private Bath

Knoll House is a custom designed frame building with four bedrooms - each with private bath, and a great room with living, dining and kitchen areas. The master suite has a walk in closet and a private deck. The first floor bedroom is handicap accessible, and also has a private deck. Every room in the house has wonderful views. Both houses feature period furnishings, a collection of antique quilts, laundry facilities and satellite television.

Secluded but conveniently located, Knoll House is within minutes of the airport, historic Fairbanks, the University of Alaska Museum, riverboat rides on the Chena River, gold mining and the Alaska Oil Pipe Line.

There's a private balcony. A kitchen is outfitted with a refrigerator, an oven, and a stovetop. The bathroom has a bathtub and a hair dryer. Conveniences include a phone, as well as a microwave and a coffee/tea maker.

The pictures do not do justice to the beautiful home and setting. The home was clean and well stocked. The beds were comfortable. We were a group of 8 and it was great to have space to spread out with individual bed and bath rooms. The house it a bit outside of Fairbanks but is an easy drive in. The host was very nice and stopped in twice to check to make sure we had everything we needed. I would not hesitate to stay at Knoll house again.

Great view and convenient!

We had an amazing time and house was perfect for our family. Norm is very helpful. The listing pictures do not do the views justice. The weather was great and the view from the driveway and upstairs were gourgous. Would definitely stay here again.

Great accommodations for a large group

We appreciated having 4 bedrooms with attached baths. The kitchen was well supplied (could have used a bit more silverware). The location is a bit out of the way, but works well to be away from the lights of downtown Fairbanks, as we had good Northern Lights Views from the property. Norm is a very nice and accommodating host.

House had everything we needed. Beds were comfortable, view was amazing, fireplace was easy to use and wood plentiful. Decently outside of town but easy to get to with 4wd even in January. Views of the northern lights plus we had moose visitors! We'll be back.

Well appointed, comfy house with Auroa views!

The house is well appointed (plenty of spices and cookware!) It is also spacious with plenty of storage.The beds are comfy. We especially appreciated the no stair entry and handicap accessible first floor bedroom that also has beautiful views. Most exciting was how wonderful the views of the Northern Lights from the house. There was no need to book an Lights tour. Norman was an excellent host, very helpful and quick to respond to any questions. Our family had the best trip and the house was perfect.

Norman’s place was awesome. It was very clean and perfect for our family of 8. The view from the front yard was great and we were able to see the aurora the last 2 nights. I would highly recommend this house to anyone. We would definitely rent again.

Magical vacation

When we booked this home it checked all of the boxes of what we were looking for in a vacation rental. In real life it exceeded our expectations. The home is inviting and cozy. The amenities are excellent. The location is great. Felt very private but not far from the airport, restaurants, museums and town. Perfect for a family vacation. Norman was very responsive to my questions prior to our stay. He also checked in with us a few times during our stay. As an added bonus we were able to experience the Northern Lights from the yard instead of in a crowded setting. Thank you Norman!

Beautiful Home, Owner is a Delight!

You cannot beat this home for a group our size, or larger for a stay in Fairbanks. We had a group of five friends and the four bedrooms with private baths worked perfectly for us. The home has so much character due to its furnishings and we were greeted by the Owner with open arms. He was very informative, thoughtful, kind, and always available when we needed to ask a question. He made our stay very easy and we felt like we were home. We had a wonderful surprise with the Autumn colors and were stunned by the beautiful valley views from the upstairs bedrooms. We look forward to a return stay in the future. Alaskan Family Adventure

This home sits on a hill with amazing views. I have never seen a more lovely home...it's simply breathtaking. So tastefully decorated. Our 3 adult children each had their own bedroom and bathroom which is very unusual, along with the master bedroom and bathroom. Beds were super comfy and the kitchen was so cute with everything we needed. We sure hate to leave our home away from home. Thank you Norman!

House was good from the aspect that all rooms had their own bathrooms. Unfortunately the house needs a total deep cleaning. I had to clean the bathroom in the room with two queen beds. The tub had hair and hadn’t been cleaned in who knows. Garbage can was full as well. The whole house needed cleaning from top to bottom.

Perfect for our family gathering

Our aging family gathered in this beautiful home in a beautiful location having a stunning view. It served as home base for daytime exploration of the Fairbanks area, and as a venue for games and story swapping. We all return to our various homes carrying memories and warm hearts. One bedroom is easily handicap accessible, and the others are up stairs.
